HI Moms.
I'm planning to go out to eat this Thanksgiving and am not sure where to go. I know the Gaylord has a dinner, but would like to find something a little less expensive than $65 if possible. Please let me know of any other places you know of that will be open on Thanksgving for brunch and/or dinner. Thank you.

What can I do next?

Go to http://listings.guidelive.com/ and search for Thanksgiving Dinners. They list everything or at least a majority of them with pricing.

Whatever you do find, please make a reservation. Be on time. Don't stay more that 2- 2.5 hours. Be nice! The people working have families at home and they are at work looking after you. And please tip generously. Thanksgiving is not the day to be cheap.
Happy Holidays!!!!!

I'd call around to your fav restaurants and ask if they're going to be open. If they're not, do they know who will be?

A friend of mine always goes to Cracker Barrel. I'm not sure if they take reservations or not. I also think they do a take-out meal if you just don't feel like cooking, but would like to eat at home.

This is non-traditional...but Chinese restaurants are always open... on our usual Holidays.

OR... Hotel restaurants... are open.... for the Holidays... for out of town guests... and anyone else.
Call them and ask.

I can not wait to see the responses. My family tried to go out last year, and could find nothing open! We ended up back at home looking to see what was in the freezer :(

I love cooking at home or going to a family or friends house. My inlaws are going to a buffet this year. We aren't going as we have other family in town. Before hubby and I had kids we had Easter dinner at Busch Gardens in the fancier restaurant. It was good.

Last year we went to MImi's cafe and had a great holiday meal and no clean up. We were too late to make reservations, so we went at off time and got in after a short wait. Check around and see what other places are open!
