Not much on the American side. Everything happens on the Canadian side.
Have fun. Love the falls.

There is tons! We went there when kids were 3 and 5. We did maid of the mist, Behind the Falls tour, the cable car thing that goes over the river farther down from the falls. There is a town area (can't remenber what it is called?) it's like a street or two with lots of fun stuff, you can get ice cream cones, there is a giant glassed in Ferris Wheel, a fun house (kids loved that!) I think I remeber a Space Needle thing to go up in too? It's all right there on the Canada side, right down from the falls - we walked there.

I must caution you to stay close to the park area if you're looking for things to do on the US side. The outlying area is a bit gritty for a 3 year old. The park is very nice, though. They have 'cable car' rides and walking tours under the falls. I think in season, there is a lovely restaurant overlooking the falls, too. Plenty of touristy things to do in the park. Strangely, we found almost nothing to do outside of it.

Have a great time!
