I am looking for a new pediatrician that is closer to my home in Plainview. Right now we are using one in Mineola and it's been getting more difficult to make the trip. I was wondering if any of you have used Central Long Island Pediatrics in Bethpage? The Drs. there are Drs. Galinkin, Love, Rubin, Keschner, and Wolfson. Does anyone have any input to this group of Drs. or any other practice in the area? Thank you so much for any information you can provide.
Sorry a little late with the response, but if you are still looking, Old Country Ped in PLainview on Old Country RD are amazing. Dr. Bruzzone and Dr. Muscarello ###-###-####. I would not trust anyone else, and I am extremely protective with my kids. Thanks, LeeAnn
Hi. I am a mom of 3 and live in Old Bethpage. I use Central LI Pediatrics. I like them. They are very close and convenient. They will always answer questions and are there Sat. and Sun. mornings. I am not crazy about all of them but you can tell them who you want to see when you make the appointment or when you go in with a sick child. I tend to see Dr. Rubin mostly, but Dr. Galinkin is great, too.

My daughter's pediatricians are located in Plainview. Pediatric Health Associates, P.C. They're in 100 Manetto Hill Road Suite 302 phone 516-931-PEDS. It's a group of 6 Doctors and I really like it because you have different personalities and they are parents themselves. The office is very much kids friendly. They have a website (don't remember it), try to google it.

I have a 4 month old son and we use Wantagh Peds. They are wonderful. There are four doctors, he's seen them all and we are comfortable with all of them. We originally were going to uses Bellmore Peds because they were affiliated with where we were delivering (South Nassau hosp.). Turns out that didn't matter (Wantagh Peds was our second choice but I was so worried about the peds. being associated w/our delivering hospital that we picked Bellmore.) Four days after our son Gabriel was born, he was admitted into the Winthrop ER and then ICU. He had an emergency operation and was transferred to Columbia Presbyterian in the city. When he was discharged two weeks later, we switched him to Wantagh Peds. because upon our Gabriel's emergency, we were hugely disappointed with Bellmore Pediatrics and their response (and I should say Winthrop hosp.) When we switched to Wantagh, they learned about Gabriel's case from Columbia, got all his records and every doctor there knew about him. Plus when we see them now, they all know his story. When they check him out, I don't feel like I constantly have to say "This is THAT baby." I would recommend them highly. Good luck!
P.S. I should mention that I do know people that are happy with Bellmore Peds but we had a not so great experience.
I also use the same practice as Michelle L, and it is called Pediatric Health Associates, I think. I believe the address is 100 Manetto Hill Road. They are very well staffed, always available, never too long a wait. The emails are great, too.
I absolutly LOVE my pediatrician practice! They are on Manetto Hill Road in Plainview....they were reccomended to me by a few friends and I have since reccomended them to others who have switeched and love them as well.....all the DR.s are great - Samuels, Keschner, Reid, Lippman, Fierstien.....They have Sat appts and follow ups on Sundays - they take you right away, they call bacl right away if you have a question.....and the offices are adorable, animal themed etc...my daughter who is 2 1/2 doesn't mind going. And DR. Lippman is great with girls because she has the GYN background as well....they also have website and send out monthly updates or if something is going on in the news they are so quick to send out some info, allergie season/flu/etc.....www.phapc.com - check them out....we see Dr. samuels - but have seen them all over time.....good luck!!
