hi there- we use Wantagh Peds and love them. All the doctors are very nice and very patient with my many questions. While I've heard good things about Bellmore Peds, we used them at first. Our four day old had a very bad medical emergancy and were were not happy with how they handled it. They did check up on us though- quite a few times. But for us, it's Wantagh Peds. Good luck!

Dr. Oppenhiemer was also recommended to me when I moved to East Meadow almost 2 years ago but I never went there b/c it was impossible to get an appointment.
I have been taking my son to Dr. Zaso in East Meadow (next to the NYSC) and we love him and the staff there.

If Seaford isn't too far, I would recommend "Seaford Pediatrics". I began taking my daughter there when I lived in Seaford, and was so happy with them that I still go there, even though I now live in Babylon. Good luck and congratulations on your new litle one!

Keep in mind they don't do interviews and they ONLY take Newborns. Good Luck.

I use Oppenheimer in bellmore on newbridge rd. there are a lot of dr's there- some great, some i try to avoid. both of my kids LOVE dr. andy and dr. peter. my friend had some VERY bad experiences w/ dr. bob. i do recommend going to a place that has more than one dr. jic they are not around when you need them.
