Hey there mama's, I'm looking for an amazing adult dentist, as I'm having an issue with an old filling coming out! I HATE going to the dentist, and so someone that does sedation is a must! We went to a well known dentist in Lehi, and weren't terribly impressed, as they wanted both the hubs and I to use two different rinses at $12 for a 6 oz bottle... upon further research, this rinse can make you lose all sensation of taste and on and on and on... and is also not proven to do what the office told us it would.
Anyway, so, preferably someone in SL, we live in the sugarhouse area and it would be awesome to not have to drive. Also, if they offer evening or weekend appts that would be fantastic too! Thanks so much!
Our family dentist is Dr. Eric Felt by the U of U area about 2nd south and 10th east. He's great.
Our excellent dentist is Dr. Ludlow. He works here in the downtown area so it is pretty accessible. I do not know if he does sedation or not (you will need to ask) but once he filled a tooth for my husband without him even knowing (and he is a scared dentist hater too.)He is a very good Dr. and does a mouth checkup along with a tooth checkup looks for signs of cancers or any problem.

I'm in the same boat. I had an AWESOME dentist, and would drive to So Jordan (I live east of Sugarhouse Pk) to see him, and then he moved to Riverton. I don't like the dentists that replaced him nearly as well, and just this morning I was thinking about the fact that I am due for a cleaning, and have no clue where to go...
If you want to drive to Riverton ;) Dr. Kwant is his name. I'm hoping someone else will post someone closer though.
