Hi S.,

I've never tried slimquick but my advice to you would be to do something that's going to be more of a life style change. I've tried those lose weight quick diets and the weight always comes back and there's usually more on top of it. It's all about making changes for life and eating in moderation. That's just my two cents and what works for me.

Hi!

I am a chiropractor and a big health nut in general. Diets are so frustrating and I hate them, especially the crazy fad ones that only work sort of. However, I found this amazing product that isnt actually a diet but a detox for your body. It works to clean out your system totally, but you actually eat good food the whole time. One of the awesome benifits (besides the obvious system clean out and healthy change of pace) is that you lose at least 10 lbs. Tons of people I know have tried it and almost all of them lose at least 10 lbs. Also it changes the way you crave food, so you really dont gain it back at all. Most of the wieght you lose is the hard to lose wieght that is water and other toxic junk in your body. Check out the website for more info, I KNOW you will find it amazing if you choose to try it

I hope it helps

I think you look great the way you are! But if you want advice most people will tell you dont try the diet pills and stuff. The best way is to watch what you eat and exercise. I HATE to exercise. I lost weight after tyler because of diabetes and I had to watch and count my carbs. I think that is the best way to lose weight if you hate the working out like I do. However I am completely kid free on Wed now from 9:30 to 1:30 So if you want to start meeting and walking we can!!! luv ya

I have recently lost 30lbs. I tried every diet pill on the market and nothing worked. What did work was changing my eating habits and working out. I went to a personal trainer and she gave me a meal plan. It consisted of lean meats fruits and vegetables. Eventually you can add dairy and wheat. It is all about how your body process the food. It was hard at first but worth it. I have kept the weight off for 6 months now.

I have never used Slimquick...but I think that the name is telling. We all know that there is no way to get slim quickly. I have a two month old and am also trying to lose the baby weight. I have to say that in the past, the only thing that has worked is eating well and exercising. I also have great luck when I "count points" with Weight Watchers. I have never attended the meetings, although I think that would help. I think for me with WW, it is having to write down every bite that enters my mouth. It keeps me accountable and keeps me from sneaking bites all day (which is my thing). It also helps me to know what I SHOULD be eating. We all know what we shouldn't eat, it is the should I have trouble with. With WW, you know that a chicken breast has the same amount of points as a cup of rice, and the chicken will obviously stick with you longer.

If you are interested in WW, I am pretty sure you can just go to a meeting spot (you can find online) and purchase the point calculator and the books you want.

Good luck!

I don't even go near any weight loss aides, I tried stacker pills in the past and made my heart race. I have done Weight watchers in the past also and plan on doing it again. My son was born 5 weeks ago so will just be starting dieting soon. And I plan on making sure I do some form of exercise a day no matter how tired I am. With Weight watchers you can eat whatever you want as long as you count the points. Sorry I was no help with slimquick but I personally feel that its a waste of money and its all about will power. You need to be in a strict mindset and really want to lose weight and you will.

Oh goodness, I have been on EVERY diet known to man.. I GAINED weight on a lot of the diets. Backwards I know. I am here to preach that the ONLY way to drop weight is to learn portion control and walk. Just got to make yourself do it. But don't deprive yourself of cravings. Have that piece of cake (or whatever) in smaller pieces......I am almost 50 & it's a lot harder to drop those unruley luv handles. Good luck and WALK WALK WALK!!!!!!!

Last year I lost 33 lbs. on Weight Watchers. It is a great way to eat healthy, start exercising, and get support from others doing the same thing. I think it is a very healthy way to lose weight.

Didn't do a thing for me but make my insides feel jittery when I took the full recommend amount. So I went down to half and that jittery feeling went away but I still didn't notice anything else. I have about a 3/4s empty bottle sitting in my medicine cabinet!!

My mother has a lifetime membership with Weight Watchers and it really does teach you how to eat right. Now when she finds herself gaining the weight back on, she simply starts counting her calories and fat intake and from WW she learned how to eat the right things to help her lose the weight, which also helped me after I had my dd, she taught me there are foods that are extremely low in cal/fat but that I don't have to go hungry to lose weight. Mine is not as extreme, but i am proud to say I have lost 7 lbs and have not felt hungry or deprived at all, although it does take a bit longer. Also, a lady in the health food store said try eating celery before bedtime, she said it keeps you from bedtime snacking and it helps you burn more calories in your sleep, don't know if it worked or not, i only ate it one night :) but it cant hurt!

I have a friend that is beginning a weightloss and fitness class in the Kennesaw area, probably the 2nd week in September. Her program is based on lifestyle changes, accountability and an exercise program. All in one. Email ____@____.com for details.

I have to second Weight Watchers. It is the only way I have lost weight and kept it off. I've struggled with weight issues for almost 20 years and this was by far the most successful program I have tried. It truly teaches you how to eat better by making better choices. If meetings are no your thing you can do it all online. I just had my secong baby in May and although I only gained 23 lbs with her, since she was born I have managed to regain the 15 lbs I lost while nursing plus some. Now that school is in full swing (I'm a teacher) and things have settled down for me it is time to get started on this again, as I really miss my old energy. I also need to loose 30-40 lbs, so I am right there with you. Good luck!
