I think that you would need to know why it is exactly that you want to send your kids to a Christian high school. There are pros and cons, so I would suggest to write down a list of the both. I don't know of any Christian schools in Brentwood, but have many friends that have/had their children at Ripon Christian. Many of them have pulled their children out and the few that still have their children there is because they want them to finish off their last year. I think now, sending your children to private school has become a status thing instead of having real core values and reasons behind it. I have four girls, two of which are in public school, and would not send them to private school. They are wonderful students and thrive at where they are at. For their spiritual needs, my husband and I as their parents, are in charge of meeting those needs. We go to church every Sunday and they are active in our church. Well that is my two cents worth. I would just suggest to really think about the reason that you want your child in a private school and then write out the pros and cons, and then discuss your options.
