Help!!! I need help with planning a party for my 2 year old daughter. I really do not have a lot of money to spare, with that in mind I also don't know where to have the party. I have no family down here, but she does. Her side of the family doesn't know where I live and I don't have any friends with children her age. Where could I have her party and everyone be satisfied at the same time. Oh, I forgot to mention, her grandma passed away earlier this year so we can't have her party there either.

What can I do next?

I have learned with my kids that sometimes especially at 2 years old big birthday parties are that important. Since you don't have a lot of money to spare invite family to your home and have ice cream and cake. Depending on when the birthday is go to a park and have hotdogs or hamburgers and chips and sing happy birthday there. If you are not so much worried about having her family there and if she is in school bring a cake and goodies there, I think most schools would allow that. I enjoy planning parties so if I could help more let me know.

Maybe you could have the party at the local park with pavalions for grilling? Near a lake or pool?
