Hi All,
I'm having a party at My Gym and because I don't know everyones addresses I decided to go ahead and use evites since I do have everyones email. My question is, should I type out the waiver language that is on the party invites given to me by My gym? Or should I just hand them to the people as they come in to the party to have them fill and sign there? The reason I'm unsure about typing out all the waiver info is because its a release and then I would have to fill out spaces for kids name, dob, parent signature and etc. Thanks all!!!!

What can I do next?

No, I would just mention in your evite that they should plan on arriving 10 minutes early to sign a waiver, or put the start time a few minutes sooner than it actually starts so you get everyone to sign.

We did this recently, and people just filled out the waivers once they got to My Gym.

Doesn't the gym have a link on their website? Most of these places do, you should be able to include the link in your evite. That way parents can print and sign it at home and bring it to the party with their child :)

Be sure to tell them that there is a waiver that needs to be signed... if a lot of the friends are also friends, some may car-pool and the parent may not be the one dropping a child off.

Give them to them when they show up at My Gym. No one will pay any attention to them in the Evite.

There's no reason for you to have to do this on your evite. Too much work for not a very good reason!

Do you have phone numbers? For those who can't bother to click on yes, no or maybe, you will need to call them the day before. I swear, people can be so bad about RSVP'ing. I read it here on this site all the time, like the poor mom who wrote that not one single kid who was invited out of over 20 showed up. Just awful.

I'd call every single one who doesn't RSVP or who says "maybe" the day before, if I were you.

Hope you have a WONDERFUL party, mama!!!

Smiles and hugs,
Dawn

is the waiver available online so that you can refer them there and they can print/bring it with them or let them know they will need to fill it out at the location?
