My little girl is now 12 months old but is still in-between eating entirely grown up/toddler foods (since all her teeth are not in) and the Berber stage 2 and 3 foods.
At this age, how many meals should she be getting a day, and how many snacks? Should she be eating breakfast, lunch and dinner pretty much the same time we do, with snacks in-between when she seems hungry? Right now ive still been feeding her dinner when we eat (around 530--whatever we are eating and whatever/however much shell eat of that) and then giving her 8oz of milk or a Berber stage 2 about an hour before bed, at around 7.... Do I need to feed her this last meal?

What can I do next?

Hi! My baby book says kids that age should be getting 3 meals a day and 2 snacks. Basically Breakfast, snack, lunch, snack, dinner- we always did milk right before bed too but that's because we were nursing. Anytime the kiddo seems hungry though (outside of this) you can offer something healthy. Some kids are grazers, and others will eat constantly during growth spurts. I swear our 17 mo. old ate lunch for 2 hours straight on Sat. and was noticeably heavier afterwords!

Three meals a day should be fine-don't encourage too much snacking.

She should be eating regular 3 meals a day with one or two snacks. The teeth really don't effect her ability to eat real food, the gums do fine with chewing.

At that age this was my son's schedule:
7:30 wake up
8:30 yogurt and cup of milk
11:30 lunch and cup of milk
12:00-4:00 nap
4:00 snack
6:00 dinner and cup of milk
7:30 bath and bed

He was off the bottle and on all table foods at 10 months.

sounds like your doing everything I did with mine. With the last meal.. see how she acts. If she acts hungry then give it to her, if she doesn't then it will be ok to skip it. Also see how she does during the night with out it. If she sleeps all night and not wake up hungry then yes its fine to skip it. But if she wakes up hungry in the night then give it to her.

She can pretty much be on your schedule with a morning and afternoon snack as well. My 14 month-old has been eating meals with us and snacks between for several months. Sometimes, if dinner is going to be later, or she didn't eat much for the previous meal, she eats a bigger snack, but it's always something healthy. She eats everything, so meals aren't a big deal with finding things she'll eat. My older has always been picky, so when he was that young, we had to make sure he ate enough which was a challenge. Just watch how much she eats of your food. You can probably skip the extra dinner, just feed her the baby food with the rest of dinner and give her milk before bed.
