My sister and nephew, who will be 5 in April, are coming for two weeks in July. My sister wants to find a week long camp for Benjamin. They live in the mountains of Virginia and we thought something beach or lowcountry related could be neat for him. Any suggestions?

What can I do next?

Chastain Arts Center has a wonderful camp that is weekly. My kids have been attending that camp for several years - very laid back and the kids make cool art stuff.

Check out Charleston County Parks website and the recreation website. Both offer great day camps for all ages and budgets. I know the County Parks offer beach adventure day camps for smaller ones.

M.,
I would try the local YMCA. They have all different kinds of camps that may be of interest. I'm not sure if they will only be for a week, but it would be worth a shot. You may also want to check out your local parks and recreation department. They have tons of things going on. Hope this helps.
Good Luck
