I recommend Charles VanDuyne MD. He was my doctor for my last baby and I also worked with him as a labor and delivery nurse.
His office number is ###-###-####

Hello,

I was with Dr. Hoffman, who is at Tuscan and Macarthur and associated with the Las Colinas Medical center, prior to deciding that a birthing center would be better for me than a hospital birth.

I found Dr. Hoffman to be very warm and attentive. I generally prefer a female doctor, but he put me at ease (at the time, I was looking for someone associated with the Las Colinas Medical Center and on my insurance). He was very receptive to the birth going the way I wanted. I, too, was concerned about the high percentage of cesarean births in the US and he tried to put me at ease about not rushing to c-section on the births he attends.

My personal decision ended up with me going to a birthing center with a midwife in attendance and that turned out to be a very positive experience for me (had I been in a hospital, I am convinced I would have had a c-section as my daughter was not born until 36 hours after my water broke and 13 hours of labor.. the hospitals never let you go that long). Feel free to ask me about that, if you would like.

However, even though I didn't choose to stay with Dr. Hoffman and a hospital birth, I would still highly recommend him as an OB/GYN from the time I was with him.

His office number is ###-###-#### and his address is 701 Tuscan, Irving, TX 75039.

Hope that helps.

P.

I would recommend Tuscan OB-GYN also but my doctor is Shelly B. Ramos. I prefer a woman who has been there and she is very personable and intelligent. You will not be disappointed.

Dr. John Hanson in Las Colinas Medical Center delivered all 3 of my children and he is the absolute best! I have a 4 1/2 year old daughter and twin sons that are a little over one. Most doctors do a C-section automatically with twins, but he was very open to letting me deliver, as long as there were no complications, which there were not! :) He is the best, I have referred him to all my friends and they feel the same as I do! He is in practice with Dr. Zavaletta @ LCMC.
