Looking for New Church

Our current church is just too far to travel with two little ones (24 miles). Looking for a new christian - open minded - church in the Littleton area. One with a solid children's program would be ideal. Any suggestions? Thanks!

Littleton Church of Christ has a wonderful children's program for babies-highschool (youth). The pastor is young and very vibrant. They are having a Vacation Bible School Program in June. It is off of Colorado just north of Arapahoe. Has small groups ministry. Check it out on the web. Littletonchurch.org.

We go to a church called Ambassador Church, www.acdenver.com we really enjoy it. It a very small church plant, hoping to grow. We have a children's program established for the younger children. There is a nursery for ages 0-2 with about 9-10 kids if everyone is there (and 2 on the way). There is also a 3-4 year old class that has about 5-6 kids. So it is definitely smaller than the others recommended, but the fellowship is great. The fun part is we hope as the church grows, the children's program will grow and the kids can grow up together. If you want a larger church Bethany Evangelical Free is a good one. Best of luck, church hunting is hard!

I am the nursery coordinator at Jubilee Fellowship at Lincoln & Lonetree Pkwy and I LOVE what I do! Every weekend, I get to minister to the best little treasures at our church - kids from infants to Pre-K. But it's not just the kids who matter, I look at it as a wonderful opportunity for parents to get fed spiritually, as they sit in service together without distraction - but that only happens if they feel comfortable with where there kids are at! I take what I do very seriously and am so blessed! Please, please feel free to contact me if you have any questions about our curriculum, teachers, classrooms, MOPS, VBS, etc.... You can check us out at www.jfc.org - we have services at 4 & 6 on Saturday and 9 & 11 on Sundays!

Not sure which part of Littleton you're in, but I go to a great church in Lone Tree called Jubilee Fellowship on the NE corner of Lincoln and Lone tree Pkwy. Amazing people run the kids program, and the pastor is phenomonal. It would be worth a visit!

It is a wonderful church with great children's programs and a lot of opportunities for family functions and Mom-time activities!

We've gone since our children were babies (8 and 5 now) and couldn't be happier. Great nursery/Sunday School programs, MOPS programs, Bible Studies, Vaction Bible School, Preschool and Kindergarten.....

Cherry Hills Community Church in Highlands Ranch has an active children's program called Grace Place. Parents feel comfortable with their kids in the program. It's well organized, fun and engaging. The music and preaching is also very relevant.

We love Littleton Church of Christ too. Every Wednesday night in June we are participating in Vacation Bible School for the kids. It is part of the children's program (pk-6th I think). It might be a great way for your kids to see if they are comfortable with the environment. As Jennifer G said, you should check out the web address. You can register the kids online if you want to check into it(the program is free of course).

Southlink Community Church is an amazing place, it is a big community and everyone is very supportive. We are growing fast and are expanding our childrens ministry. The childrens leader is amazing and is getting a ton of great programs started. I work in the 2-3 year old room and the kids always seem to have fun with the lessons and learn a lot. Let me know if you want more info, the website is www.southlinkchurch.com

We really like St. Luke's United Methodist Church in Highlands Ranch (Broadway just south of C-470). They have a great preschool program as well as other children's programs. I've also heard all the United Methodist Churches in this area have good preschools, so Littleton or St. Andrew's should be just as good.
