Patti about made me cry! You see, I'm that nursery coordinator! I LOVE my job! I mean really LOVE my job! So, needless to say I'm a little biased when it comes to Jubilee, after all I've been there for nearly 10 years now! I am the Pastor Liaison for our MOPS group and this year our coordinator is adding in some more social time, so we have some Mom-Connect meetings planned where we can socialize and talk - the favorite one is our MOPS Spa Day, where you get to eat chocolate, pamper yourself, talk with other moms, and possibly win some cool things. (It's my favorite too!) Okay, I noticed you have a 4 month old, so I'll tell you about the room your daughter would be in.... Our infant room is called The Tidepool and has been painted as such with seagulls, fish, a "Bouncy Beach", palm trees on the wall, waterfall, etc... It is for children 0-18 mos. and we have 2 primary caregivers that rotate every other Saturday in there, and Mrs. Kathy is in there every Sunday morning. We like the kids to see the same faces, and the caregivers get to know the children really well. There are 2-3 other volunteer workers that help out at each service, and all who are above the age of 18 have been fingerprinted and had a background check done through CBI & FBI. We have a number system, so you'll get a claim tag that matches with your daughter's number and if we need you at all during service, you'll see that number go up. The toys are sanitized regularly and there's quite the variety. That's all the "technical" stuff, but the bottom line is my heart for the nurseries at Jubilee is for every child who is dropped off to know how much God loves them, after all they're royalty in His eyes! I want every parent to be at peace dropping their precious little gift off in the nurseries, so they can sit in service with their spouse and get fed spiritually - no distractions. If you have ANY questions, PLEASE feel free to ask! Patti mentioned our website www.jfc.org and there's a lot of info there. April 25th is a great day for a birthday - mine is the 24th - it makes for a great Mother's ring too!!
No matter what, I pray you find a church you can call home and get connected with some great moms!!

Before we moved to Castle Rock, we loved Mountainview Community Church at the corner of Highlands Ranch Parkway and Broadway. It is a casual, non-demoninational church with lots of great things going on. I know they have a Moms group that meets there as well.

I've also been a member of Mothers and More which is a group of women who have transitioned in and out of the workforce at various times to focus on their family. Lots of neat women at all stages - even ones back to work full time. Very helpful email loop, but lots of playgroups and activities for Moms and kids, moms only, and entire families.

Christ Lutheran Church has a ton of young families, and thus a strong Sunday school and VBS program. The church also has MOPS, and a preschool. you could also look into MOMS groups, and on meetup.com. Christ Lutheran is located on Broadway between C470 and HR Pkwy.

Hello! I too live in Highlands Ranch and I belong to a wonderful MOPS group at Cherry Hills Community Church and we also attend Sunday Services there as well. We have been a part of the church for 5 years now and love it. They have a wonderful children's program for when your little one gets a little older. I am not sure what type of Church you are looking for but this is a Christian church. My daughter also attended the preschool program there for 2 years. You can check out their website: www.chcc.org to find out more information and also to find out more about MOPS and how to sign up if interested. Please don't hesitate to contact me if you have any questions.

MOPS saved my life when I moved to Colorado. I didn't know anyone and I didn't have any family out here. I now because of MOPS have some of the best friends you could ever want and the BEST home church that I now work at (I am the Nursery Director). I never would have found my church if I hadn't come to MOPS. MOPS is a Christian based orginization who's motto is "better moms make a better world."

I attend MOPS at Waterstone Community Church which is in Littleton (corner of c-470 & Bowles...www.waterstonechurch.org). I know it is a hike...I too live in Highlands Ranch, but I lived in Littleton when I found MOPS. I have looked into joining a MOPS group in Highlands Ranch but it is very popular and I have had a hard time finding a group with room. The problem is that MOPS offers childcare and thus they have limited room in some places. You can go to www.mops.org and click groups and then find a group and put in your zip to find the group closest to you. You are welcome to come to my MOPS group. I could send you information if you message me. Our kick off is on the 27th of August at Leawood park in Littleton, and our 1st meeting is September 3rd.

I could wax on about how great MOPS is for hours...

My 4-month old son and I attend a mommy support group at Sweet Beginnings in downtown Littleton. We cover different topics each week and it has been a great resource and a life saver for me, being a first time mom. It's wonderful to be with other new moms and share our experiences.

I go to a fabulous church in Lone Tree called Jubilee Fellowship. We've been there for about 6 years. They do have a MOPS group (Mothers of pre-schoolers) which is a great organization for moms of young children. I attended MOPS from the time my oldest was a baby until my youngest went to kindergarten. If you aren't familiar with it, they meet at various churches about twice a month. They have childcare, although sometimes moms of very young babies will keep them with them for nursing and so forth. Totally rhe mom's decision on that score. Anyway, they usually have a speaker, with all kinds of topics covered from one meeting to the next. They may be very practical, encouraging, etc. Whatever might be helpful to a young mom. They also have small group time, great to get to know other moms, and they also have a craft. I always looked so forward to MOPS meetings! The nusery coordinator is the same person who coordinates the nursery for the main church services, and she is phenomenal! Her name is Heather Meacham and she has the most amazing heart for the little ones.
As far as the church goes, it is non-denominational and the pastor is really great. We have loved going there. The main campus is on the northeast corner of Lincoln and Lone Tree Pkwy. They have services on Sat. nights at 5 and 7, and Sun. mornings at 9 and 11. There is also a Highlands Ranch campus that is meeting in Thunder Ridge High School for now, but will be moving into a more permanent location at Santa Fe and Countyline in the near future. The campus church has it's own pastoral staff and is smaller and more intimate, with video teaching from the main campus. The Sr. pastor's name is John Leech. If you want to hear some of his preaching you can go to the church website, which I believe is jfc.org.
If you by chance decide to visit this coming weekend, they will not be meeting in the 2 campuses (actually 3- they have another campus in Castle Rock) or at the usual times. They are having their 10 year birthday celebration at Civic Green theater, I think it's called, on Sun. the 17th at 10am for all campuses and services, but will be resumimg the normal schedule after that. I hope you find a good fit for you and your family!

I have friends at Highland's Baptist Church and Centennial Baptist Fellowship. They seem happy there. I haven't gone to either as we're on the other side of town.

Hi! If you are on the east side of Highlands Ranch, you might want to drive down Quebec/Monarch into Castle Pines North. We have three churches which meet in schools.

My church is Castle Pines Community Church, which meets at Buffalo Ridge Elementary School at 9:30 AM. It's sort of generic Christian, although technically Baptist. We are growing and extremely friendly.

Well if you are looking for a great church with a Mom's group, and you don't mind driving a little bit, I can tell you about a great one! We go to the Rock of Southwest in Littleton. It's not far away from C470, so it would be easy to get to. Just exit on Bowles. It is on Kipling and Alamo. Mom's group meets on Wednesdays from 11:00-1:00 and it's a great time. Services on Sunday are at 8:30, 9:50, and 11:15. Nursery is provided during all three services. There is a great early childhood program at the church. Our motto is A real church for real people. The head pastor is awesome. He's very funny and energetic and the sermons are very powerful. It's a non-denominational church (loosely Baptist but you wouldn't know it). If you want more info, send me a message and I'd be glad to tell you about it!

St. Luke's UMC in Highlands Ranch (Broadway) has wonderful children's programs. We joined after having our first child, and really love it there. They don't have their own MOPS program, but they do put together children's play groups and also have a Women's Night Out the first Monday night of every month, free childcare for almost every class or event they hold, and some Parent's Night Out events. Our son LOVES their preschool.

Good luck finding the right place for you and your family!
