Hi Ladies! I'd like to take the kids to cut down a tree this year. Does anyone know of any inexpensive tree farms in the south sound area? I'm hoping to stay under $20 (if thats even possible!). It's been a tight year and I would rather see my money go towards the kids presents and charities than just a tree we will only have a few weeks. Thanks for the tips!!!

What can I do next?

We've gotten a live tree at Ikea in past years. They were $20 and when you bring it back in January, they give you a $10 off coupon. They were pretty decent quality trees.

Drive out to 320th on 167 Freeway. Go East very east. Up the hill, just past the big Safeway turn right. There should be a sign. I think the name of the farm is Pfaff farms. You could call before you go and see if they are still their.

Hi A.,
I know of a great place that's fairly close to you. We cut down our tree there last year and were quite pleased with it. Our neighbors just went last week and got theirs. For only $25 they got a beautiful tree that's at least 8 feet tall! The name of the place is McCaslin's and is in Enumclaw. I don't have an address or phone #, but you may be able to find that by searching online. I can also check with my neighbor because I believe she got a business card from them. Too late in the evening for me to call her now, but if you can't find any info online, email me and I'll get it for you.
Merry Christmas ~

We are in the same boat, I know that you can get a permit from the state to cut your own from a National forest for like $5 or $10. Theres a few places you can go and I hear REI sells them too!
