Looking for a Stylist That Does Organic Hair Color

Hi!

I am looking for a stylist/colorist that has experience doing organic hair color. I would be willing to drive for the right person.

I have kind of turned into a hippie since my son was born 3 years ago. I just think about things more, you know? I am wanting to get pregnant and thinking about how I will handle my hair color. I used to live in Nevada, and my stylist there said it wasn't as great as regular color, but the organic color could turn out okay on blondes. I have a colorist here I really like, but I don't think she's really willing to work with the organic line. I shudder at the thought of not coloring at all while I'm pregnant, but I don't want to expose a baby to any unnecessary chemicals either.

Any ideas? Thanks so much!

What can I do next?

I am very new here so I don't know where any stylist are (and am looking myself) but I have an idea. You could pick up some organic coloring at Central Market, online or wherever and then take it to a professional who would be willing to work with it. I have learned through trial and error that having a professional do your color is the most important part to having a happy result :) Maybe you could save some money that way? Not sure but just an idea. :)

We too are organic "hippies."!!  We have been for a little over a year and loving it.  I have noticed an Organic Salon in North Richland Hills  They are at Grapevine Hwy 26 & Cannon Drive.  The name of the salon is Kleopatra.  I don't know any other information other than that.  They are a new build, but have been wanting to try them out.  I used to go to Ogle to get my hair highlighted, but it definitely isn't organic.  Let me know where you go and how it works out.  I need to call them myself to get a price.  Go ORGANIC!!!  It's fun being a hippie!!!  I never thought I would be one.

If you dont find anyone, I've heard there's some great natural dye's at Central Market. I've done my own hair before and it was a lot easier than I thought. Good Luck and let us know if you find someone!

I love Splurge Salon in the shops of Highland Village. They are all specialists so the person that does color, only does color, etc.
