hi moms! i know there a tons of large amusement parks and water parks in south florida, but i'm looking for the small community waterparks in your neighborhoods to visit for a few hours on the weekend. please tell me about any you know of, similar to the fountains at city place etc.

My girlfriend just told me the zoo up here has a water fountain area to play in. Also the water park in west boca is fun also, my 17 month loves it. Ryan's Mom -L.

There is a small waterpark in Boca Raton called Coconut Grove Water Park. It's out in West Boca between Glades and Yamato Road off of Caine Blvd I think it's called. It's a water park located within South Regional Park. That's the only one I know of. Hope that helps
The zoo has a great fountain for the little ones..............
We have one in Palm Springs down by our community center. Its free and easy to get into it.

There is a good one in Atlantis. It's a gated community, but anyone can get in. Just tell them you're headed to the park. Not sure what hours or times of year the fountain is open though.
Palm Springs has a great water playground. We always have my son's b-day parties there. There is a fenced in water park & fenced in regular playground.
Take I-95 to 10th Ave., go west to Davis Rd. Turn right onto Davis. When you get to the stop sign by the Palm Springs Library & Leisure Services, turn right & the park is behind the buildings.

There are a couple water parks out west..not like in city place ( and did you mean downtown, by the library?). there is an actual water park, calypso bay, in royal palm beach...it is really small..not like the rapids. I have never been..but driven past and it looked cute. Also, in Lion Country Safari, they have a water park inside the walk-around-part. It borders on honky tonk..but looks fun for little ones..I'll be going this summer. It is only $50 per year for an annual adult pass...free for little ones..and that includes the drive through safari and the walk around park. Not at all like the fountains downtown..but water and fun.

There is a waterpark called Calypso Bay off of Southern blvd. I take my children's group there all the time. It is a waterpark that is geared more towards smaller children. They are located at 151 Lamstein Lane, Royal Palm Beach, FL. 33411. The telephone number is ###-###-####.
Yes, Calypso Bay is exactly the water park that I was going to recommend.
Catherine Strong waterpark in Delray Beach, just off the Atlantic Ave exit, is really fun for the kids. I think they have a web site that you can find on Google.
