My 3-1/2 year old son is ready for a dentist appointment and I was wondering if anyone has a recommendation for a good, friendly pediatric dentist that they like/love. I will, of course, have to see if they are covered by my insurance, but any and all recommendations will be helpful!

What can I do next?

Dr. Joe Sciarra is an excellent dentist. My son is autistic and we went through two dentists before I went to him and we were so thankful we found him! His number is ###-###-####. Let them know that A. Hickey sent you. He is on Vent. near Fallbrook.

My daughter also goes to Dr. Jill Lasky and she is wonderful. We had a very difficult time at another office and Dr. Lasky made her appointment very easy and helped her with her fears and anxiety. I highly recommend her!!!! They accepted our insurance, though we did have additional costs that were not covered. I will continue to go there, even though it costs a little more. Well worth it.

My children love Dr. Michael Lasky. He is in a group along with his father, Martin, and wife, J.. They are all good. Martin Lasky, his dad, was my dentist when I was little!
Their phone number ###-###-####. His address is 19510 Ventura Blvd. #207, Tarzana.
My kids started seeing him when they turned two. They love (I mean this, literally) going there. The dental assistants are great with the kids, they have games to play while you are sitting in the chair - and they are quick.
Good luck,
J.

I, too live in West Hills. All of my kids go to Dr. Jill Lasky in Tarzana on Ventura Boulevard. The practice is made up of Jill and Michael Lasky (husband and wife) and Michael Lasky's father (can't remember his name) is also in the practice.

My kids LOVE dr. Jill. It's a pediatric practice and they are so good with the kids. I know several kids who go to this practice and all have rave reviews. You should definitely look into it. Good luck.

I know two Moms who have taken their kids to Dr. Pabst in West Hills, for years, and are very happy with her. I have always taken my kids to Dr. Gregg Louk, in Reseda. My husband and I have been going to him since the early 80's. His wife is the hygienist. They are both very kind and gentle. Their practice, however, doesn't specialize in pediatric dentistry, so they don't have the fishtanks and other "bells and whistles" in the waiting room.

As far as scrapbooking goes, I have a friend (who was also my daughter's Girl Scout leader) that has every scrapbooking gadget imaginable and frequently hosts scrapbooking days, for anyone interested. There's an event coming up on the weekend of 4/26. Her email is: ____@____.com

Both of my son's (5 and 11)go to a great pediatric dentist behind West Hills Hospital. Her name is Dr. Judith Pabst. The office is great and so are the staff. They have a big aquarium in the waiting room, with underwater scenes on the walls. The kids sit together in one big room and get to play games etc. while they get their teeth done.

Dr. James Yee is hands down the best in town. He is right on in the heart of the Valley on Victory and Tampa Aves. and people come from all over LA -- even Santa Monica -- to see him. My review is already in the link below, so check it out.
