Seeking Female Pediatrician in Woodland Hills Area

I really like Dr. Kathryn Stiles in the Agoura West Valley Pediatric group. She's a warm person whom my children really responded well to--and still do well into their teens. She's located in the West Hills Medical Center, and the nice thing about the office is, if for some reason you need to go in for an illness and she's not available, there are still other doctors there who are just as warm and caring, even if they are not female. But it's still great to have Dr. Stiles as your primary to handle physicals, etc. Not sure about Blue Shield, but since they are a big group, I'm sure they handle most major insurances. We go to Valley Pediatrics in Encino 5353 Balboa Blvd just South of 101 - not too far from Woodland hills. There are 7 or 8 doctors there and 1/2 are women.

Dr. Marina Burstien is our pediatrician and we really like her. She's been right on with what she's said so far regarding our son who is four months. She is not pushy regarding immunizations and respects all our questions. I like her a lot actually. She takes Blue Shield also. I highly reccommend Rachel Esmond, M.D. in Encino she is one of the best female pedatrician I know. I am not sure about what insurance she takes but you might want to give her a call she is The BEST! Her Address:

We have a great pediatricians office in West Hills...close to Woodland Hills. There are three Dr's. One female, one male and a female Physicians Asst. They are all wonderful!!! My daughter is 22 months old and has been going there since birth. They are always available. I can call at 3am with a concern and a Dr. will call back within 20 minutes!! The # is ###-###-####.
