Hi. I am looking for a new hairstylist in N. Scottsdale for a good, reasonable-priced cut & color. Any recommendations? Can you tell me their name, location & how much they would charge? Thanks so much!

Hi J., I've been going to Zolton's in the Grayhawk plaza. My stylist is Maurina Pascale. Do you get those coupon mailers at your home? Go through them if you do- she usually has a coupon for first-time clients for a free haircut with color. That way you could try her out at a discount and see if you liked her. I like her because she is SUPER efficient. She almost always runs early and I never have to wait. A haircut will not take longer than a 1/2 hour tops-maybe I have a simple style though. She charges $55 for a haircut and color depends on what you get done. She doesn't use assistants so you don't have to worry about tipping someone else. After going to another N Scottsdale salon and being stuck there for hours, this is a much better experience. http://www.zoltons.com/

I've been going to my girl for 10 years now. Her name is Roberta and she is located within the Signature Salons on Shea and Scottsdale. She has very reasonable rates. I just referred my girlfriend there and she loved her. My girlfriend said she paid considerably less than the people she used to go to. As far as rates for you, it depends on what you want. I would have to guess for a color and cut, you could expect to pay between $100 and $150 depending on the length of your hair, the color (if you do many different chunks), etc., but that's just my guess. Her mobile number is ###-###-####. Good luck.

Hi J. -

I go to Kandi @ Beauty by Veronica - it's on Indian School and 6th St. I absolutely LOVE her! I have long curly hair and she has always been reasonable while everywhere else charges me a small fortune and my first born child. Thier number is: ###-###-####. Good luck!

I have a great woman who works out of her home--first name Allison, phone # ###-###-####. She costs about $30 less than when I was going to a salon, and she is amazing.
