Does anyone know of a good hair stylist in the Blue Springs/Independence area? My sister usually does my hair for free but lives too far away. Thanks!
My friend, Erika Wyatt, works at a salon in Blue Springs called Christine's. It is at 7 Hwy and Main Street. She is great!
Another good one is on the Independence Square - Salon 208. Ask for Mary or Jamie as both do a wonderful job.

Just started at a new place which was recommended to me. The girl's name is Leighanne and she works at Trade Secrets at Independence Center. Don't know if you color your hair but she does a great job with color and charges the same price no matter how many colors you get.
Not sure how far away from Blue Springs that you are but i go to a salon called Creative Images. It is on South 7 HWY i nBlue Springs and my hairstylist is WONDERFUL. Her name is Carlee- she is pretty young- 21 i think. But really really good and pretty reasonably priced, i think. And really i would trust anyone in the salon to do my hair. I love mine...Sonrisa Johnston at Self Expressions ###-###-####. It is in Blue Springs at 40 Hwy and 7 Hwy. All the ladies there seem to be great...Risa only works Wed, Fri & Sat, but is excellent on color and listening to what YOU want. Her prices are also very good... I get 2 highlight colors and a cut for around 100.00 (FYI - I have long hair).
My lady is great. I moved here in 1997 from Omaha and for two years I just to drive four hours home to get my hair cut. I tried several people here, but couldn't find anyone good...until I found Andrea. She is so good!! Her name is Andrea George and she just opened her own shop on the Square in Independence next to Square Pizza. I see Shelly at Marshel's in BS on Main St. She's been doing my hair for about 8 years now and I've never been upset. Her prices are also very reasonable. There are a couple of other stylists in there that are good as well.

I have gone to Kathy at AJ's in White Oak Plaza in B.S. just off of 7 Highway and 40 Hwy across from Price Chopper - for 25 years! I have difficult hair to cut and she is excellent.....very good. Good luck......v.
