I am having some issues with my cycles and I'd like to see a Licensed Nurse Midwife. I have always had Licensed Nurse Midwives instead of an OB GYN, but we moved and I don't know of any here in Sandy.
I live in Sandy also but I go to the nurse midwives in American Fork at the Mt. Timpanogos womens health center. They are fantastic. I have been with them for over 6 years now and I have loved them, they have become dear friends and they have delivered 3 of my children.

I use the midwives at Mt Timpanogos Women's Health Care center too. They are great, and they work under 2 or 3 doctors so IF something comes up, you've got doctors available too. Their number is ###-###-####. I think they are just great. :)

I don't think there are any nurse midwives in the Sandy area. The closest is probably in Murray. I'd try Danielle Demeter or Julie Jones, both are great!

I live in Sandy, I am expecting my first baby (due any day now) I was seeing a nurse midwife instead of an OB GYN at St. Marks hospital at the womens pavillion, her name is Tony Lamafa, She doesn't deliver babies anymore so she refered me to a nurse midwife who she went to school with. Her name is Diana Petersen, she works accross the street from St. Marks at OG/GYN Associates. They are both really great! I don't have the phone numbers on hand, but you should be able to just look up the numbers in the phone book or on line. Hope this helps. Good luck!
