Looking for a Doctor - Boulder, CO

Hello, I recently moved to Boulder and away from an OBGYN that was wonderful. Its time for a yearly check up and I am looking for another great doctor in the Boulder area. I have one daughter (16 months old) who was born by C-section because she was big and breech and I am on the smaller side. I am also looking for a doctor who will use stiches after a C-section and not staples (as I have heard some pretty bad stories about recovery). Any input you have, I would greatly appreciate.

What can I do next?

Boulder Women's care... love them. Wish my insurance still was accepted there. Mako and L. delivered my son via c-section. Not sure about hand stitching versus staples. I had staples but my scar isn't bad at all. You might also search the archives (or ask) on ____@____.com

I went to Boulder Women's Care and really didn't like a few of the doctors and didn't want to have my baby with them. I moved to Women's Health Group NW and LOVE Dr. Roos! It's in Lafayette, but worth the trip. She delivered my daughter c-section with stitiched.....303303-###-###-####

Try at Avista Medical Center, Centennial Valley Womens Clinic in Louisville! Granted I used staples and it was alot faster healing time and I was up on my feet within no time. My dr had me up and walking three hours after delivery too, that will help you not stiffen up. I haven't heard of stitches being used in a very long time, the healing time and risk of infection is a lot great then with staples.

I went to Dr. Tracy Jones at boulder Medical Center -- Foothills. Loved the practice, the doctors, the receptionists and the nurses -- they actually answered the phones when you called! I wanted a hospital birthing unit with a room-in NICU since my children tend to come early and Foothills is great! They also have queen bed suites for after you birth -- to sleep with your partner if you want! It is a special place and Dr. Jones is a great doc!

Boulder Women's Care, definitely! Dr. Jennifer Leavitt has been the best obgyn I've ever had, but all the docs are great(all women). I had two complicated pregnancies/deliveries and was treated with love and respect. Love them!!

Hi,

My OB is Molly Yardley out of the Avista Medical Center in Louisville. She is straight forward, but very pleasant. She performed my 2nd C-section and it was soooo much better than my first. I had absolutely no problems and was up and walking around virtually pain free the next day. I highly recommend her.
