Well, it depends on how far you want to drive, but Taylors First Baptist has a contemporary service on Sundays and it's a great church. Also check out Brushy Creek Baptist Church - it has a contemporary service at 10:45 on Sunday and they also have events for everyone in your family. Check them out at their website ---> brusycreek.org

Hope this was helpful! Happy Hunting!

My parents go to a great baptist church. I grew up there and have since moved to non-denominational, but If you are willing to drive to Easley just go down 123. You won't miss it. It's huge...Rock Springs Baptist Church. The pastor is great!

Try Legacy Church...we are meeting right now at 430 Woodruff Road, Suite 500. This is on the Laurens Rd. end of Woodruff in the same building as Teleco. We are in the process of building in Simpsonville on Jonesville Rd. near Scuffletown Rd, and plan to be in our new builing in June. Service time is 10:00am with great contemporary worship, excellent children's program and I beleive one of the most gifted pastor's. He has a true love for our Lord, people and teaching God's Word!! We are a young church, and have about 120 in worship & children each week. We are about going deep into God's Word, and reaching as far as possible to reach the lost. Hope to meet you soon! A. B.

We go to Southside Fellowship on Hwy 14 between Woodruff Road and Roper Mountain Road. It is AWESOME! The teaching is expository and the pastor is excellent. It is also a contemporary service with wonderful music. Plus they have great kids' programs. We have two Sunday morning services. An early service at 9am and then a later service at 10:30am. (We do the later service!) You can visit their website at: www.southsidefellowship.org and they also have their most recent sermon online that you can listen to. We LOVE our church. It's definitely worth a visit!

My church has an awesome and powerful pastor, and a powerful youth pastor as well. It's a smaller church with one service though, so we try to blend contemporary and traditional into one service so that there's something for everyone. I find that I'm surprised by how moved I still am by some of the traditional songs from my childhood so I actually like having a little of both. It's Mountain Creek Baptist Church, near State Park Road at the base of Paris Mountain (in the 29609/29687 zip code area). It's small enough where we all get to know each other and have that "family" feel, but big enough that there are lots of activities going on. 255 W. Mountain Creek Church Rd Greenville 29609, ###-###-####.
