Lifetime or Health Bridge

I'm joining one of these gyms in the next week, but can't decide which one. Which do you like better?! I don't really know much about either, just that I need to join. ;) I primarily will do classes. Also, how is childcare at either place? Clean? Safe?

What can I do next?

I had to make the same decision last year and I went with Lifetime. The childcare facilities are far more engaging for the kids at Lifetime...in fact the drop off childcare area at Health Bridge isn't even in the same league! HB has a big open space with a couple of toys scattered, a little room that your kids might be able to do crafts in (if it's open) and a small kids basketball court. LT has a big basketball court with tons of balls, a giant tube/slide climbing thing (like McDonalds), some coloring tables, a big carpeted area with lots of toys and a TV, a big computer lab (like 10-15 computers) and a separate baby care area. The also have tons of kids programs like rock wall climbing, swimming lessons, etc...If my kids didn't like going there I can't imagine that I would still be able to go regularly :) The workout facilities I can't compare because for some reason they didn't want to show me the upstairs at Health Bridge??? But I can say that Lifetime is exceptionally clean and well maintained. The workout floor and rooms are spacious, clean and the atmosphere is good. The locker rooms are great. Saunas, hot tubs and pools are clean, fun and usually not crowded. Good Luck with your decision!

I used to belong to Lifetime, but am now with Healthbridge. I think they are both great gyms. I like the group classes better at Healthbridge and the layout of the gym better along with the running track. However, I would say in regards to the childcare, Lifetime does seem more engaging and they do have the rock climbing wall. I think you will be fine with whatever gym you join. If you have any friends that belong to either gym I would join that one so you have a buddy also I find myself going to the gym more now that I am with Healthbridge only because it is closer to my house - proximity is an important factor for me. I also love Healthbridge's family time.

Either way I don't think you will go wrong.

I love lifetime too. I don't know anything about the other gym you mentioned. My son does go to the daycare and they treat him really great. He is really shy and they encourage him to be involved. He doesn't always but they genuinely care about him. I go the same time everyday so it is the same staff which helps.

I utilize the group fitness class and love it. I typically do barbell strength, cycling, no frills drills (kind of like crt), and strike.

I LOVE LOVE LOVE Lifetime. My kids love the childcare and beg to go. I feel like it's clean and safe. I also love their classes. I go to class at 9:30 about 3 days per week. There's a nice variety/ selection of classes and the instructors are great. We also take the kids swimming on the weekend, which they love. Joining was one of the best investments we've ever made! I am not familiar with the other place, but I can't say enough about Lifetime. Have you toured them both? At Lifetime, they had our kids stay in the childcare while we took a tour. When we went back they were pleading to stay longer!
