I don't know about counter tops, but I had some really wonderful cabinets made by G & L Powers. They do wholesale cabinets and are located around Guadalupe and McQueen (Mesa Dr). Mesa Fully Formed does the best work and is family owned and local. Highly recommend them to anyone! They are in Mesa if you want to look them up. They did some work for my mom on her corian counters and they were perfect and no problems whatsoever. Good luck with whoever you choose!! -S
We had lots of quotes. My kitchen is really long and the cheapest quote we had was 15 grand just for cabinets. We went to Ikea, and bought all of them for 3,400 and my hubby put them up. They are wonderful. We went with an independant contractor for the granite. He is no longer here. But you can find them on craigslist or google granite. I hope this helps.

we just had granite installed - by Oddonetto Granite CO. (www. oddgranite.com), ###-###-####. John (the president, who is a really sweet Midwestern guy) actually came to do all the measurements himself, and came to do the job with the guys. They had it done in one day. Total days in my house with matching and measuring - 3. Clean, affordable, and very trustworthy. We priced it out with a lot of companies. These guys were second cheapest, but by far had the best quality and service.

Not sure if you'd be interested in this, but this is what we did and it worked out very well - both by cost and beauty.
We found a few new cabinet kitchenettes on Craigslist that a man had purchased from a Lowe's store when they were remodeling their showroom. Then we went to Lowe's and ordered more to fill up our kitchen. Grand total from Lowe's was less than $5,000 - and these are their top of the line - Diamond brand.
We have another kitchenette set that we were going to install as a juice bar but have changed our color scheme - so it is sitting in the basement. It's in almost perfect condition and I am only asking $900 for it. You can still order more from Lowe's. Here's the link to our CL ad if you would like to see what they look like:
