JFF: Do You Love Your Hair Today?

OMG this week has been the total busy/hectic/spastic week thus far.

But, my HAIR, is so great today!
I have thick, wavy hair, layered, a little longer than shoulder length.
It is usually hard to manage and I usually have it up.
Hair stylists love my hair though, because it is so thick and full of body and wavy. Naturally.
But it drives me nuts.
But today, my hair is SO great!
I am wearing it down and loose.... today is a cool breezy summer day and just beautiful and my hair is blowing in the breeze and just like in a commercial! And it is so Bohemian which I like.
I feel so darn free & 'attractive' when my hair is like this.
Just free flowing hair, blowing in the breeze, my hair waves are just so spot on and nice. I don't even have to brush my hair and just finger toss.

I am just loving my hair today!
It just makes my day!
Hair.
It can just irk you or make your day.
Something so simple but so complex.
LOL
No I am not bored today, just busy as usual but just exclaiming about my hair! Because it is rarely like this.
So happy with it!
Cheap thrills for a Mom.
LOL

Anyway, a just for fun question on a beautiful Friday over here.

Are you loving your hair today?

Okay. Bad hair days (of which I have MANY) bug me. Throws of my groove! And, I am having one today. Thank goodness for braids/buns/pony tales ;-)

Kudos to you!
Yes, I am loving my hair. I have found that I'm loving it more and more. I didn't always appreciate it and could kick myself for all the hot stuff II didn't do with it/to it years ago. I'm making up for lost time now though. :)

LOL!! Cute question :) Actually, I have a total red headed afro today from the humidity. My hair is almost down to my butt, but because it's so crazy curly today, it's almost shoulder length. Needless to say, it's all squashed into a bun!!

But the hairday YOU'RE describing... I get so frustrated when I have a great hairday and no one sees it!! So get out there and show off!! :)

No WAY!
It's rainy and drizzling and HUMID out here today!
And for me (natural wave) that spells B-A-D H-A-I-R D-A-Y.
Even the flat iron doesn't do it.

That's when I get out the clip.....ahhhh...all better.

And no more RoseannaDanna hair!

Glad to hear someone, somewhere IS having a good hair day!

Actually, no. I hate my hair right now. I had 5 inches cut off Wednesday and she cut my bangs WAY too short. On top of that, she didn't even give me the haircut I asked for. So now I have to wear my bangs back in a barrette or bobby pin until they grow back. I am TICKED!
I'm glad your glorious locks are blowing in the wonderful Hawaiian breeze...wish I were there instead of work!

what a funny question! Love it!

okay, so ...yes, it's a good hair day....as was yesterday.

BUT last night, we were truck shopping for our teenage son & there was an old lady trying to out-talk her daughter/owner of the truck. The old lady was pure hillbilly Ma Kettle.....& in the middle of her trying to out-talk everyone, she looked over at me & .....omg, said, "hey, honey! Is that your natural hair? All those curls & waves? Is that a hairpiece?" My almost 15yo son & my DH did NOT die laughing until we left the yard....I was soooo proud of them! My response to Ma Kettle was, "yep, it's all my hair & this is the thinned out version." .....OMG! Just shoot me now.....

Happy to hear your're having a great hair day :) I LOVE it when that happens!
Today isn't bad ~ not the best, but def not the worst hair day.

Hope it's ok to share funny hair story from yesterday......My hair is naturally curly but 90% of the time I blow it straight and put in large curls with curling iron or I flat iron it. Yesteday am I was in a rush so I jumped out of the shower and scrunched it a diffused it. So it was full and curly. One of the guys at work asks me "did you stick your finger in a light socket?" Really?! Do people say stuff like that at our age? Then says, "but I like it!!" Then our assistant controller says "what did you do to your hair this morning". I just had to walk away. She came to me later and apologized and said she realized how rude it sounded but she just hasn't seen my hair curly in so long. WTH?!?! Some people just have no filter!!!!

I do right now! I LOVE the InStyler and the Frizz-Ease Secret Weapon Finishing Creme as well as Garnier's Slleek & Shine Anti-Humidity Styling Creme. I have thick/coarse hair that most days I throw up in a pony or a bun and just smooth some gel over the top, especially right now during Monsoon season.
Tonight I didn't want to go to bed with my hair wet and wake up with what I call my "white girl fro." So I blew it out enough to dry it then used about a nickel sized dollop of Garnier, used my InStyler and finished it with the Frizz-Ease and now OMG it looks great :)

Nope, not loving it today, it's overgrown and I have to wait another week to get it cut. The way my hair looks usually sets the tone for the whole day. Sad, I know. But I'm glad YOU'RE having a great hair day - your post definitely made me smile :)

Denise has Rosanne Rosannadanna hair. I have Gene Wilder hair. Or, at least, that's what I call what happens to the crown of my hair when it senses the slightest bit of humidity.

Not liking it today. I am biding my time in headbands and hair clips until Autumn!

I did love my hair today. I straightened it yesterday, went to sleep, and usually would have to re-straighten it a bit in the morning but this morning it was perfect. I didn't have to re-straighten it at all. It was awesome.

It was 96*+ with 100% humidity, rain, rain, rain, musty, dank, blech!!
My hair has been flat and stuck to my head for a month. UNless I'm inside, then it's still flat, but at least it's dry.

Good for you! I don't love my hair any day, except the day I get it cut! I wish I could bring my stylist home with me and he could do it every day, then I'd be sure to look my fabbist! ;)

I am neutral towards my hair today. It is in a messy ponytail and I am fairly certain there is paint in it (we are painting the bathroom). I definitely need a shower once I am done painting. I find my hair rather boring and think maybe I need to dye it an interesting color. I recently attempted to get a cut with some interest but, while it looked nice, it was still yawn worthy.

nope - getting it cut tomorrow. I said I wanted to grow it long one more time however I always forget that because my hair is thick/heavy/and kind of course long hair doesn't look great on me as it gets weighed down. So, tomorrow morning it's getting cut!

my hair constantly bothers me, but i am one of those people who constantly wants to change/do something different with her hair.....which would be easier if it were long, but i cant stand it long because it is so thick that i hate it on my neck...mine is shorter in the back and gets longer toward the front. i think if i could change the color every day i would be happy...lol
