My sister had this and they told her that is was the implantation that was causing the blood and cramping it could happen for awhile. S.

You need to go to an urgent care center or emergancy room. None of us can know what's happening.

It's possible you are ok and that it's just a little spotting but if it's more you need to take care of yourself.

I have also had an ectopic pregnancy, caused by uterine fibroids, and my cramping and bleeding gradually became worse, so if your cramping and bleeding has stopped, hopefully that is a good sign that it is just something minor. It is so important to go to see a physician very soon. I went early enough that they were able to save my tube and it was an outpatient procedure. Also, If your bleeding and cramping have stopped, it may be some residual from your menstruation cycle. I have friends that continued to have slight menstruation the first few months of pregnancy, during the time they would have had a "period" if not pregnant. Just so you know, I was able to have a successful pregnancy following my ectopic one, so if that is what it turns out to be, it doesn't mean you cannot have another full term birth. My prayers are with you and I hope you are given the gift of a healthy pregnancy this Christmas for this precious little baby.

Call your OB-GYN. It's better to be cautious even if it's nothing than for it to be something very serious. I've been in your shoes and thoughts and prayers are with you . . .

L., everyone's going to tell you the same thing. Go to a doctor without delay. It might be nothing, but it could be any number of things. Nobody can tell you except your doctor. If it is ectopic, by the way, that's dangerous for you, and you definitely need to find out.

It's possible. The pain from an ectopic, or tubal, pregnancy will continue to get worse and worse, and the bleeding will get heavier. You don't want to ignore this if you are still bleeding and cramping (especially since your pain is one-sided). You need to call your doctor's office and have their answering service page the OB on call. She can assess your symptoms over the phone and tell you whether to head for the ER. I am an ex-surgical nurse and I can tell you that I have seen more than 1 woman come in way too late...their tube already ruptured and the woman bleeding internally. Please take this seriously. On a lighter note, it's possible that this is something totally different. Just call your doc today. Good luck.

It could be just a missed miscarriage. Those were the signs of mine. but don't freak out till it is comfirmed. It could just be the uterus getting expanding. Which can cause bleeding and discharge. Talk to the dr.

Please...go to the ER today, or at least go to the labor/delivery unit of your hospital. At least they'll give you an ultrasound either way and if it turns out to be nothing...then great. But if it is something you want to find out asap. i hope you're already there by now..

I had an ectopic pregnancy last year. I started bleeding before I got any cramping.It was also a darker brownish color. The only thing you will be able to do is get to the hospital, since few, if any, doctors will be in until the middle of nest week. You don't want to put off finding out for sure because if it is ectopic and you wait, you could end up rupturing your tube and then it is life threatening to you. I hope we are wrong and itis just a minor complication right now, but it does sound like the same symptoms I had with my ectopic pregnancy.
