My daughter loves music and i listen to the radio in the car and some of the songs are really not appropriate for her. I am looking for something silly and whimsical that she can sing along to or learn something like numbers and abc's etc. Years ago i had a cassette of Cheech singing kids songs as a school bus driver and he was telling the kids how to mix paint colors and another song about bullies. It was so cool but i don't know what i did with it when my older kids outgrew it. I would love to find that one again bc i liked it, couldn't stop singing some of those songs myself.

What can I do next?

Try Kiddo's Delight, she has about 12 personalized CD's perfect for this age group and they even have matching books so that she can learn to read what she is singing. Paula can give you more ____@____.com
or you can call her at ###-###-####.

Hi,
I am a former music teacher and love the Lauri Berkner CD, along with the Doodlebops, Steven Fite, and Backyardigans. The Greg and Steve CDs are great for learning, but the sound is a little old fashioned. My daugher is 3 and loves all of these.

Hi, try They Might Be Giants. My husband got hold of their CD "No!" and it's really great. You might be able to find it online. The songs are real songs, not just trite little rhymes, and we really like them for all three of our boys. Hope this helps!

Some of our favorites are local musicians that have quality children's music that my husband and I can actually enjoy too. Mr. Heath is from the Dallas area and Mr. Mark is from Fort Worth. I think there music is available at many stores but if you have trouble, Brystone Children's Book store in Watauga carries them.
