We have a great group at my church, Real Life Community Church. It is just south of McGillivray on Bella Vista. We took a break for the holidays but will be starting back up on 1/14/11. We meet every Friday from 10-12 and just hang out. The kids play and the moms have a chance to visit. We have a wide range of ages, infant - 5. Our moms are the coolest group of ladies, some have different parenting styles but no one is judgemental over someone else's choices. We can share our frustrations and joys and encourage each other in this great parenting adventure. The church's website is seekreallife.com. Feel free to message me if you want more information.

I go to a very nice moms' group called M2M (Moms to moms) at East Park Church. Even though it is sponsored by the church, a lot of moms go to the group who aren't involved in the church (I don't attend church there). They meet every other Thursday. We have brunch/visiting time, then usually some sort of presentation on different topics. Some of the sessions we've had so far this year have included: Practical tips for home organization, an autumn craft, how to help your child get the most out of their school year, dealing with depression, Christmas on a budget ideas, and a Christmas party. I think we're meeting this Thursday, but I can't remember for sure. I know that the first session this year will be playing bunco. I'm attaching info from the brochure, if you're interested. If you do come, say hi to me--my name is O.. :)

M2M is a place for mothers of all ages, all
stages and all phases to develop friendships,
be renewed in our roles as mothers,
and gain practical information on topics
that relate to our lives as women.

M2M meets every other Thursday morning
from 9:45 to 11:30am at East Park
Church. M2M is open for our
community. You can come any week
and bring a friend at any time.

Excellent care is provided for our children
(ages 3 months to 6 years). Pre-school
activities are provided for children 3 to 6
years. A donation of $3 per child is
requested each week, but never required.

For more information call Tamara Wade at
###-###-####, ____@____.com or visit
East Park's web site at www.eastpark.org.

Hey B.,
I am part of a moms group called Meet Other Moms. It is a fun group of great gals with kids of varying ages. We would love to have you be apart of our group. We used to do scheduling of events through Meetup.com but now have a group on facebook. Email me when you get a chance and I will send you the link.
Looking forward to sharing mommyhood with you.
M.
