Have You Heard of the Nose Frida?

They just showed this on my morning news. It's a new kind of snot sucker outter thingy. Apparently mom sucks the snot out through a tube that is placed in the baby's nose. They say it's so much better than the bulbs because you can adjust the suction with your own mouth. Has anyone tried one yet? I figure it would make an interesting "shower" gift. Here's a link. http://nosefrida.com/

It is amazing. I have no idea how we survived our first child without one.

It takes a little while for you to really believe it is not going to send snot shooting into your mouth, but it really works!

I am serious - the most amazing invention for babies yet!

Riley: The bulb comes apart from the "sucky" thing, you simply rinse the bulb in the faucet and it comes clean! It really is genious.

My great grandmother (and following generations of momd) used a glass tube to similar effect.

I never quite understood the bulb. It gets clean, how?

I just ordered it, because my baby is congested and hates the bulb. I can't wait to try this thing.

No, I haven't heard of this. I thought maybe you were going to tell me that that's what my 5-year old is digging for in her nose sometimes. LOL

We had friends visiting us from Europe a couple of years ago and had this. At first I thought it was gross, but quickly realized how brilliant it was!

It is the best invention ever! Like someone else said, I had it with my third & oh how life would've been so much better with my other two if I had it with them. I'm going to give it as a shower gift because no one has really heard of it yet, and it's AWESOME. BTW, I ordered extra "filters" when I purchased mine, but never needed them. The few that come with it are plenty. It will make a GREAT gift!
