Im looking into getting a whole new look for myself. There have been alot of good changes in my life the past few years and now I its time to update my look. I'm looking into getting cut, color, and highlights done. Problem is I really dont have a stylist to go to. In the past I've gotten my hair cut only two a year (which I plan to change to go more often.) I live in the Elmwood Park area. Would you all know of any salon you absolutely love going to? I know the cost will be alot the first time, but like I said, I need a new look and am willing to keep up with the maintainence.

Thanks for all of you help in advance!! Have a happy Friday!!

I go to Lisa at Mario Tricocci in Old Orchard Mall. 1800-tricoci

I'm a full time professional and my looks are important to my job, and Lisa is my hair cutter.

As far as highlights go, try Gordon's Salon in Highland Park. They use Aveda products and are highly experienced and knowledgeable what looks good on you.

My name is K. and I live in Arlington Hts. I felt just like you and a friend referred me to Teddie Kossof Salon. Teddie himself will actually do a free consultation and make a recommendation of a design, color, stylist, etc. I was very happy with the red hair he suggested and have been using Essie as my colorist for the past two years. The website is www.teddiekossof.com and the phone number is ###-###-####. They also so coupons and reminders. My daughter Victoria sometimes comes with me and Essie will have her hair washed at no charge, which we love. She feels like a "big girl." Nice people. 281 Waukegan Rd. in Northfield, on Waukegan Rd south of Willow. Good Luck.
