Growing Belly

This is my second pregnancy and it is nothing like the first. I am 3 days into my 14th week. My question is, has anyone had an upset stomach during the 13th and 14th week. Not feeling sick really just kind of upset. I know I have read that these are rapid growing times. Any advice would be great.

What can I do next?

I was another mom that was sick my whole pregnancy :( Make sure that you don't let yourself get hungry. I would constantly have small snacks. It helped a lot. Good luck!

I was sick to my stomach for my entire pregnancy - actually vomiting if I waited too long to eat etc. I found that it helped to have saltine crackers and water with me at all times - I would nibble a few cracker and sip some water and some times that would help, or if I was at home - I would make a little grilled cheese on a whole wheat tortilla folded in half. Also - the greatest tip - came from a midwife that ultimately couldn't help me because I had a high risk pregnancy, but she suggested "sea bands". You can get them in the pharmacy next to motion sickness pills - and they worked like a charm for me! They are little sweat bands that have a button on the inside and when worn correctly apply acupressure to just the right spot. Good luck!

I've had it on and off the whole time (now 35 weeks with my 2nd). So it's normal.

I also had the stomach flu right around that time, which was miserable. Nothing like vomiting when you can't bend well at the waist!

It could be a hormone flux, it could be the baby sitting in a nerve in a funky way (you have nerves there that tie directly into your stomach), etc...

It's normal. Don't worry.
