My daughter was invited to her friends / classmates First Communion Party and I'm not sure what to give as a gift. They are in the second grade and relatively new friends. I'm sure they're not expecting a gift but we'd like to give her a little something. Any ideas?

What can I do next?

Go to Family Christian bookstores or Hobby Lobby/Mardel, they have many religious gifts.

If it's a religious school, go with a religious gift.

If public school, go secular.

We always give money... (As do many others) even for my son's .. about 3/4 of the people gave cash...

We give 100 for those we are close with.. 50 for close but not that close and 20 to 25 for all others... However, we usually aren't invited to the "all others" therefore, we've mainly given 100 and 50 away..

the kids usually get a lot of religious gifts as it is.. crosses, rosaries. (my son recd 3) I am ok with this.. but for my gift... it's cash. this way, they buy what they want..

A cross for her wall.

A prayer printed on a plaque.

Maybe a Book. I like to go to a Christian Book store to find something..
