Dr Michael Graham in Metairie..he is next to Lakeside hospital and you deliver at Lakeside as well. He delivered my 7 year old and my 9 month old. He is also taking care of 2 of my sisters in law that are pregnate right now and we are all Medicade patients. It is worth the drive and very quick and easy to get to. Right off the Clearview exit. I know locally that there are plenty of dr's that take Medicaid. Your problem is probably more in the form of finding a doctor who takes caid and is presently taking new patients. Because of our local situation we have lost several doctors and the doctors here are now overwhelmed. Try calling a referral service at any of the local hospitals. Explain your situation and they can locate doctors for you that are accepting patients and caid.

dr. caplan or dr. culotta they are both in metairie next to east jefferson hospital. i don't know where in new orleans you are if this is too far. they both take medicaid and they have other ob's in their office thay do as well(women dr's too if you prefer) hope this helps and congratulations
