Family Doctor/Kids Doctor - Orange

We recently moved to Orange and I want to get recommendations for both a family doctor for myself and my husband, and a Ped. for the kids (8 & 10).
Also would prefer someone that has extended hours, either late afternoons and/or Weekend hours.
Do you know anyone great?
If no extended hours - any Urgent Care facilities in the area that you could recommend?

What can I do next?

I love Hoag. If you can find one of their offices...and if they are part of your network... I think you'll be happy.

I don't know of anyone in your area but we do go to a great childrens' allergist at CHOC...Dr. Ellis.

Good luck.

Dr. Jason Berry in Anaheim Hills is great! He's a family doc.

St. Josephs heritage medical has an urgent care facility for pediatrics separate from regular urgent care. It's in santa ana. We found our pediatrician by going to urgent care when our son was sick, and liked the doctor who treated him. We've liked all the doctors there so far. Also, they're all affiliated with CHOC so if you ever had something more serious, they share records for peds.
I haven't found a family doctor for myself yet. And for OBGYN, everyone in OC seemed to recommend Hoag Hospital. It's great, but a bit of a trek from Orange!

I have the best Dr. EVER! Dr. James Huang in Brea. If my kids are sick or hurt after we go into see him he will call a few days later to check on them. Not a nurse or staff, HE will. He takes his time with us and is very helpful. We share tips and tricks for general parenting and travel and raising kids. They do not do appointments far in advance (only a few days out) which means you can always get in to see him. they have some regular hours, some night hours and I think they are in every other saturday. When my daughter got hurt he held lunch so we could see him instead of go to ER if it was not needed (it wasn't). If you call after hours HE CALLS back. He works with St. joseph too. Let me know if you want more info. I know its not super close to you but I drive 20 mins from chino hills because he is so great.
