Looking to change the place I get my annual mammogram and hoping to find one that doesn't treat its clients like "boob cattle". Can anyone tell me about their experiences at Northside Hospital's Cumming or John's Creek locations? Or recommend another place in Forsyth County. Thanks!

What can I do next?

Hi S.
I work @ ob/gyn of Atlanta and you can always find a facility that does mammo and gyn exams in same office. You can check the web site www.obgynofatlanta.com or you can call ____@____.com, if you need just a mammo there is Northside Johns Creek Imaging that specializes in this!
Hope this info helps you!

I've been to John's creek and it was fine. I didn't feel like cattle... didn't spend all day there... I really have nothing to compare it too since I've not had it done anywhere else, but I thought it was okay.

I had a mammo at Northside Hospital last March. It was my first since moving from Florida and I was pleasantly surprised to find the facility so clean, the staff so personable and kind and the techs so gentle. Commication was quick and thorough.

Billing Department, not so good. I'm still dealing with them because it took them until December [from March] to properly bill my Insurance.

Aside from that, I felt like a person their instead of time slot. It was worth mentioning.

I hope this helps.

Sincerely,
G. V.

Hey S.,
I've been going to the Forsyth Cumming Hospital for about 3 years now and have always been treated very kindly. The Tech was gentle and sensitive to my comfort. She even gave answers to my questions and a referral to a natural OB. I would give them a try. I'll be going again next month. Honestly though, I don't know if you'll ever get away from the herding feeling. No matter what, it's just not fun, but you've got sisters out there!! We're all in this together, keep your chin up!
