hello moms-

I would like to book an entertainer for my daughter's 1st birthday party right in the city. There will be about 15 kids up to age 7 and want someone who possibly does the following for about 1 - 1.5 hours: face-painting, balloon making, magic, or caricatures. I do not want someone who is dressed up clowny as they kinda freak me out... :) i am open to suggestions on other types of indoor entertainment as well...

any suggestions would be appreciated!

Thanks in advance.....

This gentleman IS a clown.. but if you asked.. I am sure he would forgo the make-up. He does candy bags. games, prizes, balloon figures, facepainting and magic.. and if you need it.. he is bi-lingual.. call SMILEY the CLOWN Office ###-###-####, or cell ###-###-####

Hi K.-

I highly recommend Creative Celebrations in Wheeling. I had them come to my daughter's 3rd birthday party and they were wonderful! I also booked a charcter appearance (Cinderella) and each child got a picture with Cinderella, tatoos, faces painted, dancing and playing. It helped me out so much and they are fantastic with children. Amy Rubenstein owns the company and her husband works with her as well as any characters they hire. I believe it cost me about $250 for 1 1/2 hours but their rates may have changed since last year. The number is ###-###-#### and the web site is ____@____.com luck with everything! Hope it goes well.

I used MoMo the clown for my Daughter's 4th B-day after a friend used her for her sons 3rd. she dressed as Ariel and did fantastic face painting unlike anything I have ever seen. I have used her also for the past 2 years for work related functions, she also does balloons and other things.
The owners name is Maureen

Good Luck

This is a phenomenal magic act! Mr. Bob is not only funny, but he is so engaging. He performed for my daughter's 4th bday at her preschool and all the kids including the teachers just loved him! He doesn't dress up like a clown. He wears a top hat, red suspenders and black pants with a long sleeved white shirt and red gym shoes. The bonus is that he is not too expensive. It was quite awhile ago when I used him...I think it was just under $100 for a week day and about $125 for a weekend. He is worth every penny. Trust me!

I should also add that Mr. Bob includes balloon making in his package. You should check him out!

We used Michelle Wiessgerber for our son's 1st birthday party in June. I highly recommend her. She did face painting and balloon art (REALLY good balloon art!) for about 2 hours (or maybe 1 hour... i can't remember). I would hire her again in a minute. I actually had the same request that you do... not to dress as a clown! :-) www.chicagoballoontwister.com
