H., are you sure you want to do a clown for a bunch of 9 year olds?

How about a tray full of cupcakes, a giant handmade card to be signed by the whole class, and a few girls over for movies and "Slumber Party/Fake Tattoos and Fingernail Painting"?

While I don't want to be a party downer, if you haven't oked it with the teacher, you should. Yes, it is special that your child is turning a year older, but if other children are unable to have a clown or entertainer in the class for their birthday, it may cause a problem. Fortunately since we're at the end of the school year, hopefully it wouldn't be one. : )

H.,

Go to www.fairytalepro.com, Crystal (the owner) will dress as a clown, princess, priate, elf, mother goose, you name it I am sure she has a comstume for it, she is an excellent balloon twister, and face painter, and has a wonderful network of other clowns, balloon twisters, and magicians that she works closely with.. I am sure if you just give her a call (number on the website) she could work and wonderful party for you and your daughter! Good luck on your mission!

There is a woman in the Roseville/Sac area that is a clown, but she also does a build a bear workshop with the kids. I had her come to my daughters 5th b-day,and everyone loved it. They each got to choose a animal and then stuff it, just like at the store. It was about $15 a child, but they left with a stuff animal, so I didn't have to do goody bags. She also did balloon animals for a portion of the party. Check out Noah's Ark parties, at ____@____.com
