I don't know how to ask this without grossing you all out. But I do need advice and see if anyone else has this problem with bowel movement. Sorry I know. I had really bad hemmoroids(internal) with and following the birth of my second child and I think it might have something to do with this but I don't know. I had a tough time going #2 while I was pregnant no matter what I did. In fact, I kind of always have had problems w/ being constipated. I feel now I am much more regular and stools are softer, HOWEVER, I use about a 1/2 a roll of TP to wipe and I still can't seem to get it all. When I feel like I've finally gotten it all and I go pee hours later and wipe, I'll find there's more that came out. Even after a shower it seems to not go away. Then I'll be fine for a few weeks but then it comes back. It's disgusting and I don't know what's going on or if it is normal or if it means there's a problem. I plan on contacting my doctor, but I wanted to know if anyone else has had this happen and what it is. I hope I didn't gross you out too much....I am really grossed by the experience and am going through toilet paper like crazy!!!!!!!!!! Could it be hemmoroids?

What can I do next?

I don't have a real big problem with hemmoroids but I have had them and had my frist one after my 1st son was born. Sometimes when I get "stopped up" I can drink Tea or something with Caffine and that will usually get me started. Occasionally, it even makes my stools soft so on occasion I have had the "how'd that get there" thing too. I can usually tell if it's there and will "stop in" the bathroom and check it out. I keep cottonelle wet wipes on the toilet tank in each bathroom cause it always makes me feel cleaner. I always use them when I have "Big Business" to do and when "little RED riding hood" visits for a week (period). I carry a travel size in my purse and it always keeps me fresh no matter where I go or what the circumstances. I don't know why it happpens but if you start to feel wierd about it, check out the husbands shorts and you won't feel alone. Ha!

Yes...could be hemorrhoids. Wipe what you can....(you'll clog a toilet using all that toilet paper constantly!) You also could be irritating the problem. Eat more fruit, juice, drink wine, review your diet (lots of cheese? starches?) ...... buy some wet wipes...shower at night but use Tucks or something to take care of the hemorrhoids. Talk to a dr. if this doesn't go away. Good luck.

I too have the problem...ususally it is an outside hemeroid that I have issue with. I use scott flushable wipes (they clean the best, are the cheapest, and do not break me out-I am very sensitive) Also be careful with fiber products...all but a couple have syliam (I know that is not the right spelling, but close enough). I went on the low carb diet for a while and you need to take a fiber supliment and I broke out in hives b/c of the syliam. I would say you do not lack in fiber. I would honestly try natural fiber, beans, spinach, etc first. Also get a removable shower head if you do not have one already...really helps to get it all clean down there! I do know that my ob/gyn told me she could surgically remove them if they bother me, but I do well with the wipes and the occasional hemroid suppository when needed. Good Luck!

If you have your epi-bottle from childbirth (or whatever they call it - the bottle of water you use to wash after toileting after childbirth) you could use it for a sort of "bidet" effect. Be careful with the wet wipes! I had an allergic reaction to them and was itchy for a week.

You should talk to your doctor, but I recently started having constipation-type issues after being perfectly normal for my whole life, so I had no idea what to do about it or even what was going on. My doctor recommended metamucil wafers - in the morning (twice a day if needed, but I just have one in the morning) They are not a laxative, no chemicals, but they just add fiber and keep things moving along. They don't cause me to have to run to the bathroom or anything like that. I buy the apple flavor, and they actually taste pretty good.

been there too after my 2 child, I used baby wipes in place of toilet paper, felt so much better, cleaned easier and I threw it away, so I did not have toilet issues. I hope this helps, I know your discomfort though!

It is not hemmorhoids - you would notice blood on the toilet paper if that were the problem. Hemorrhoids do not affect bowel movements. Your stools are soft, which is better than being constipated. I think the wet wipes (or even baby wipes) idea is a good one. I wouldn't worry excessively as what you describe is not really a health concern.

i have the same problem from time to time and think everyone does. i have had hemmeroids in the past also and they come back occasionally. but i would just use the wet wipe things when you go to the bathroom everytime to eliminate anything left over. i also think this maybe from your diet.......certain foods help with the situation, i read an article about what exactly a bowel movement should look like and it made me really think that i was lacking in nutrition. it says for a good bm you shouldn't really have to use toilet paper, it should come out almost clean, so maybe you need less fiber cuz it is too mushy....sorry for the grossness, but we are all adults here. try eating things that will harden it up just a little and go from there....good luck

I can imagine what you're going through but it would be best to talk with your doctor since you say it may be internal hemmoroids. It may be a matter of something very simple. Check with the doctor....he knows best.

Dear Holly I haven't expereinced this but i am sure it is from labor and most likely related to hemm. i would definitely consult your dr but in the meantime have you tried the flushable wet wipes? (many companies make them they are like baby wipes that you can flushyou can find them in the tp aisle) that may save some tp and it seems to make me feel totally clean.
