everyone's pregnancy is different. I didn't have any signs of pregnancy until i missed my period. I was almost 10 weeks pregnant when i had my first u/s!! I had my period when i was, apparently, 4 weeks. (that seems very ODD to me ;)

congratulations on your pregnancy. if you look on a pregnancy or prenatal web site you'd probably find that there are common symptoms of pregnancy such as tender, swollen breasts, fatigue, slight bleeding, nausea, vomiting, sensitivity to odors or certain foods, and frequent urination. in my experience and from what i've read or talked to other moms about, these are common but i've also heard about acne, asthma, allergies. some things that may also happen but are warning signs are abdominal pain and bleeding, increased discharge, pressure, painful urination, severe vomiting, chills, headaches. but if you are looking for signs of pregnancy that you might not hear from other moms or read anywhere, i would bet that's hard to find. chances are your doctor's heard just about all of them. if i were you i wouldn't be reluctant to discuss them with your doctor; it's the perfect time to be cautious. good luck.

I suggest you buy "What To Expect When Expecting" book. This is VERY imformative and easy to read. It has a month-by-month chapter of what you should expect and has explains things that you would never ask the doctor about. I used this with all three of my pregnancies... very good book and highly recommended...

Congratulations!!

The other Mamas are right about each pregnancy being different.

My first sign was WEIRD!! I actually thought something was wrong with my bladder. I felt a 'pinching' pain sort of behind my bladder, then I started having to get up at night and go to the bathroom. Well, what I was actually feeling was the implantation of the embryo!!! (Very early in the pregnancy.) Apparently very rare, but it happened to me. I guess my next symptom was the aversion to certain smells, like coffee. Also a stuffy nose and occassional head-ache, which I never had either before pregnancy.

I agree with suggestion to get the "What to Expect When Expecting" book! I only referred to this book and one other one, because for me, too much information is TOO MUCH INFORMATION! Try to avoid Google-ing every little thing or you will scare yourself to death!

Take care of yourself and your new tenant. Best Wishes!!!

when I was pregnant... I had the weirdest signs... I felt really tired (no brainer)... but when I took a hot shower and let the water run over my face.. it literally felt like someone was poking my eyes in with their fingers...very weird... I've only known one other person that did that...that and if I took too hot a shower (like I like them), I felt like I was going to pass out. My first pg I took SIX pg tests and ALL were negative...
