I was wondering if anybody knows a good eye cream for under the eyes.Iam 48 and don't have hardly any wrinkles, but they are under my eyes.
I have used home remedys like vitamin e and heard that preperation H can help, but heard that its not good for your eye area, and if it gets into your eyes it can cause damage.
So any other stuff i would be willing to try. L.

Oil of Olay Total Effects eye cream - the kind with just a hint of color, doesn't show once you put it on. I love it, only about $18 at Walmart, helps puffiness and lines. I'm 43 and just a consumer, not trying to sell anything, but I do love this product.

I use Mary Kay eye cream and just love it. I have been useing it for 6 years now. I am always getting asked how old I am. I am 32 with 3 kids 6-11 years old. The next question is what do I use. I recomend you go to MaryKay.com and look up a consultant in your area. The best thing about Mary Kay is you get to try before you buy with a 100% money back. That is what I did.
Hope this helps

Hi, Lori. You might want to look into Sensaria. It is natural skin care company that sells via direct representatives (which I was leary of but fell in love with the products). I use the eye cream every night. The prices are very comptative, too. There's a website at sensaria.com. Good luck! W.

I swear by the entire Timewise line by Mary Kay. I have been using it for 7 years. I turned 40 in April and I have people who think I'm in my late 20's. I started using it pre-wrinkle and have yet to get any. It's a little spendy but worth every penny.

HI Lori -
I also ride quads and live in the dirt with my kids during the summer so i have those "wind/sun" wrinkles around the eyes as well. I've tried Clinique eye cream. So far so good it does get rid of the puffyness and seems to camoflauge the wrinkles.
Hope this helps

I highly recommend Artistry products through Amway Global. (www.quixtar.com) Awesome high quality products!! Lots of science and research to back the products as well. It is a member-based site, but free to join as a shopper. I would be happy to get you set up, they have tons of other great skin care products as well.

There are many brands out there, no matter what you choose, my only recommendation is to use the same brand of products on your face and not try to mix. Use all Avon or Mary Kay or Artistry. You will get the best results that way.

Hi! I use a product for wrinkles from Mannatech, Inc. Here is the info. let me know if you are interested. Below is some info. and then a website at the end of it.

Mannatech has launched a new skin care line featuring a proprietary water technology that renders the formulation free of any need for the usual preservatives - giving it an awesome advantage in the increasingly competitive market for natural-based products.

Ever wonder why so many skin care products you buy even at the health food store have ingredients on their labels that you can’t even read or pronounce? In my view, if you can’t read or pronounce the ingredient names, there is a high likelihood it should not be in your lotion or other skin care products.

Obviously, you really want to avoid using anything potentially toxic on your skin since it goes directly into your blood stream. Go examine the labels on the bottles of skin moisturizers you currently use. You might find that your personal care products contain one most likely many potentially dangerous ingredients.

Here are a few of the most common suspicious ingredients:

* Mineral Oil, Paraffin, and Petrolatum petroleum products that coat the skin like plastic - clogging pores and creating a build-up of toxins, which in turn accumulates and can lead to negative dermatological and other issues: slows cellular development, which can cause you to show earlier signs of aging, these are suspected causes of cancer, and, disruptive to hormonal activity. By the way, when there is an oil spill in the ocean, don’t they rush to clean it up fast? Then why put that stuff on your skin?

* Parabens widely used as preservatives in the cosmetic industry (including moisturizers). An estimated 13,200 cosmetic and skin care products contain parabens! Studies implicate their connection with cancer. They have hormone-disrupting qualities - mimicking estrogen, and interfere with the body’s endocrine system.

* Phenol carbolic acid found in many lotions and skin creams. Can cause circulatory collapse, paralysis, convulsions, coma and even death from respiratory failure.

* Propylene glycol used as a moisturizer in cosmetics and as a carrier in fragrance oils. Shown to cause dermatitis, kidney or liver abnormalities, and may inhibit skin cell growth or cause skin irritation.

* Acrylamide Found in many hand and face creams. Linked to mammary tumors in lab research.

* Sodium laurel or lauryl sulfate (SLS), also known as sodium laureth sulfate (SLES) found in car washes, engine degreasers, garage floor cleaners and in over 90% of personal care products! SLS breaks down the skins moisture barrier, easily penetrates the skin, and allows other chemicals to easily penetrate. Combined with other chemicals, SLS becomes a nitrosamine - a potent class of carcinogen. It can also cause hair loss. SLES is sometimes disguised with the labeling, comes from coconut or, coconut-derived.

* Toluene Poison! Danger! Harmful or fatal if swallowed! Harmful if inhaled or absorbed through the skin. Made from petroleum or coal tar, and found in most synthetic fragrances. Chronic exposure linked to anemia, lowered blood cell count, liver or kidney damage, and may affect a developing fetus. Butylated hydroxytoluene (BHT) contains toluene. Other names may include benzoic and benzyl.

* Dioxane - found in compounds known as PEG, Polysorbates, Laureth, ethoxylated alcohols. Common in a wide range of personal care products. The compounds are usually contaminated with high concentrations of highly volatile 1,4-dioxane - easily absorbed through the skin. Dioxanes carcinogen-icity was first reported in 1965 and later confirmed in studies including one from the National Cancer Institute in 1978. Nasal passages and liver are the most vulnerable. Dioxane is easily removed during the manufacturing process by vacuum stripping. Warning: It is a synthetic derivative of coconut. Watch for hidden language on labels, such as comes from coconut.

It is well-proven that when you apply these chemicals to your skin, they enter your bloodstream and become integrated into your body tissues. In fact, it is probably safer to eat these ingredients than to rub them on your skin. So, do you want to put these chemicals on your absorbant skin? Hopefully not.

MANNATECH'S PRESERVATIVE-FREE SKIN CARE PRODUCTS HAVE NONE OF THE ABOVE!!

This healthy-for-your-skin Optimal Skin Care System has already proved to be popular in Japan - home of the water technology used in the formulation - as well as in Taiwan, South Korea, Australia and New Zealand. It is now being distributed in the US market! It is said to also contain no fragrances or colorants, and the formulation contains a proprietary water technology, which basically entails filtering and ionizing it to increase its purity and in turn extend the shelf life.

In addition to providing a means of eliminating including preservatives, the water filtration technology is also said to provide a means of hydrating skin cells more efficiently than the filtered-only water commonly used in other skin care products. Clinical studies showed that Mannatech's skin care line provided 'dramatic' improvements in skin moisture, rehydration, smoothness and radiation.

Indeed, the study reported that after just one use, skin hydration had improved by 80%, while after 8 weeks skin moisture had improved 100%, skin roughness declined by 96% and skin radiance improved 75%!
