Well...looks to me like everyone is using your question to sell their own wares. Firstly, I don't see that anyone is addressing your 5 lb wt loss issue. Here's a fool-proof way to lose 5 lbs fast if you haven't already tried it. Drink 3 qts of water a day. Period. If you're not already drinking at least 4-6 8 oz glasses per day...you'll easily shed 5 lbs. Also, eat 3 meals per day consisting of veggies and lean protein. Voila! Much more breathing room in that pretty outfit! VERY IMPORTANT...DON'T SKIP MEALS! If your metabolism doesn't feel it has to work but once a day...it WILL SLOW DOWN.

As for the skin cream...I've tried them ALL! I'm a beauty product junkie! In my, un-biased, non-skincare-selling opinion...it sounds to me like your skin is nothing more than thirsty. Another problem, over time, that water will fix. Remember...you are what you eat/drink! A quick-fix for those little lines, especially around the mouth area, Loreal Wrinkle-Decrease Collagen Filler. You apply it right on the little lines and it fills them in (at least for most of the day), then apply makeup or concealer that doesn't sink into lines. A good concealer is Maybelline Age Rewind. But most of the drugstore brand foundations/concealers that advertise 'Age-Defying' use the same technology of 'floating' above fine lines.

Beyond this special event, make some lifestyle changes if you want to reduce the "march of time across your face". Drink at least 4-6 8oz glasses of water per day and add a hair/skin/nails or cellular renewal vitamin to your daily regimen. AND, if your not already taking a multivitamin, start. Great looking skin starts from the INSIDE. Use a daily SPF moisturizer. The brand you're using is good but add a serum with vitamin C. Olay regenerist or Garnier Fructis are good, inexpensive choices. Oh...and in winter...beef up that night moisturizing. Using a more hydrating one - maybe even invest in a hydrating mask every now and then. Our faces take some serious moisture stripping in winter.

I have read some of the research about olay and they have products that are remarkable similar is working as thoughs other MUCH more pricy products. They have been compared to products that cost up to $300-$500, and have the same result. I would stick to what your using whether than wasting your money.

I sell Avon and there is a new product out called ANEW Ultimate Age Repair. I have not personally used this, but everyone says it is wonderful! There is a night cream ($34) and an elixir ($54). Here is the information I have on it:

I agree with what Mary said to you about H20 intake and protein to lose weight - I had success with both! Also, I use Olay regenerist day and night cream and just this weekend noticed that Walmart sells a store brand - Equate cheaper! The Regenerist collections is around $18 a bottle and the Equate is around $11 a bottle. I bought the equate - haven't used it yet though. The olay products I use have sunscreen as does the mineral makeup that I use. It may be time to invest in an eye creme as well if you notice creping around your eyes. I'd stick to Olay or dermatologists love Nuetrogena.

Back to the weight - I hired a trainer to shed 25lbs of baby weight after my first child - and went from a 6 back to my 2's. He had me doing 30-40 min of cardio followed by weight training 3 times a week. Immediately after my workout, I drank a protein shake to help my muscles recover. It worked! I'm expecting baby #2 and will follow the same course of action.
