We always go to Floridia in August, and in December, to visit some relatives that live there. When we go in August, it is so hot, and great for swimming. In December, it is usually warm enough for Shorts/Capris and T-shirts, and the kids do have fun swimming with there cousin, but I think it is pretty cold, but they probably warm up fast. If you are going in February, then it will probably be a little cold to swim........I would suggest indoor pools if you want to swim. You could always pack swim suits, and see how the weather is.

Good Luck, and have fun at disney if you go!!!!

It may be possible if your staying somewhere with a heated pool. In central FL it can get very cold at night in Feb, and frost is very common.

We were in Orlando 2 years ago the last 2 weeks of Feb and got lucky - highs in the mid 80s every day. The heated pool suited us just fine! Can't count on it though - it's always a toss up if it will be really warm enough.

CA or FL?
CA should be fine. I've been to FL only once, about 18 years ago, and it was overcast and raining in late January.

My husband and I went in March a couple of years ago for our anniversary and hit a very harsh cold snap where it was unpleasant to tour the parks, much less swim.

Most of the time, though, you've got a decent shot at it that late in Feb., especially with heated pools.

Hope you have a great time!

Pools and water parks are heated to 83 degrees. A great website to help you plan your trip is www.allears.net. They break down each park, places to eat, fast passes, rides, etc. They have reviews from people that have been there too for everything.

Good luck and have fun!

My husband and I went to Disney in FL a few years ago.
We checked in on Feb, 26th. The daytime temps were in the 50's the whole time we were there. It was much too cold for swimming. The winter temps can be cool or mild. When we went it was pretty darn cold.

I would check weather.com the week before you leave. Just type in Orlando and you can see the week ahead !
