I need a good diaper bag that is large enough and organized enough for 2 or more kids. I have 2 kids right now and the diaper bag I got for my first child is too small. The bag I bought after the second baby is not holding up; it has holes,is too flimsy and not organized enough. I've been looking on craigslist and ebay because I dont want to spend a ton. Im definitely willing to pay for one that I will like and be useful, though. We are planning on having at least 1 more child possibly 2 so I would like one that I can keep using for a little longer. Any suggestions would be wonderful! Thanks.

What can I do next?

I would have to say a nice backpack would work wonders with mutliple children. I've seen some very cheap yet good quality ones at Target !

I like the backpack style bags, I think they work the best. I am on my second Eddie Bauer backpack from Target and love it. I carry lots with me...and my husband doesn't mind it either.

Try a backpack. They work perfect. Lots of compartments, some have organizers you can put lotions, diaper ointments, etc.

You may find them on sale because school will be starting soon.

I second the backpack - just a regular backpack. I've noticed that none of my mom friends (all with multiple children) use an actual diaper bag anymore. Everyone's migrated to tote bags, big purses, and backpacks. They're cheaper and more versatile.

I love my Lands End one. Others have mentioned it too. Very durable, large opening, lots of pockets and pouches. I got mine at Sears. I've seen it in more colors now.

HI B.-
Lands End has the perfect diaper backpack. It has enough room for 2 kids. It comes with it's changing pad and lots of pockets. It's really a perfect bag. Very easy to carry around as well. I bought mine at the Inlet store in Richfield. But you can order it online as well.

I like my Target back pack diaper bag. I don't have much to carry with my 2yr. old so it works fine. I would like to upgrade to the large green or tan back pack at Babies R Us.

The best bag I have found - and we have lots of babies (usually at least 2 in dipaers) in and out, as we are foster home - is the Land's End backpack style. It is rugged, roomy, eadsy to organize, and comes in a number of colors (some nuetral) And even a macho dad would be ok carrying it. And this week, Landsend.com has free shippping.

Good luck!

Hi there! I have a 4 year old and 6 month old twins. I LOVE my diaper bag from Land's End. It's a back pack style but has all the good stuff that a regular diaper bag has. I believe it was like $35.00....not sure though. I love the fact that I can put it on my back as it frees up my arms. It also fits on the bottom of my strollers. You could check out their website as they have LOTS of good diaper bags. I have another Land's End diaper bag that I got when my oldest was a couple months old and it's still holding strong, so they seem to be made to be durable. Hope this helps. Good luck!

I got an LL Bean backpack and it's AWESOME! It has 2 big zippered areas, one for my purse and one for kids stuff. Then there are several smaller spots for odds and ends. There are the mesh pockets on the sides for sippy cups, etc. I love it because I can put it on my back and it's not slipping off and I can also hang it on my daughter's wheelchair handle or stroller handle.

Durable, washable and tons of room - I have 4 kids!
It even has a little pocket on the strap for a cell phone and you can put an ipod or cd player in the bigger of the little pockets and it has a spot for the wires to come out. I got the pink and my DH got the green for Christmas from my parents. Plus, when you are done with babies you can use it for whatever instead of giving it away or tossing it. I've had it for 2 years and it's still just like new. Definitely durable :o)
Best Wishes,
J.
