I am considering transfering my two kids (first and second grade) to Dehnim Oaks Elementary in Pasco County. Does anyone have any info to share good or bad about this school? Thanks! :-)

What can I do next?

LOL - I did the same thing when I moved here - I called it Denim Oaks but really it's Denham Oaks - like the community north of Land O'Lakes. It's been around since October 31, 1995 and our family has proudly attended it for over 4 years.

Call ###-###-#### and ask our awesome school secretary, Cindy Kitchen, to schedule a tour with Principal Mardee Kay Powers or Assistant Prinicipal Vaughnette Peterson. They are a great team and would love to show you around and answer your questions! We are an A+ school and we did meet AYP again last year (yeah!)!

Denham Oaks is a great school. My 2 kids go have gone there since my daughter was 3 1/2 years old. She is hard of hearing and that is where they have the Deaf and hard of hearing classes. The principal/vice principal are great and so are all the teachers that I have met.

I absolutly love this school. My son is in 2nd grade and they are very family oriented. They encourage parents to come have lunch with their children and set up special tables for this purpose. Everyone is friendly. The vice principal is the best and will resolve any issue you may have. They have an annual fall festival with moonwalks, and ponies. There is not enough good things I could say about this school.
