Cleaning "Fake" Ugg Boots for Daughter

I had just bough my daughter some off brand ugg boots from costco a couple weeks ago. They are super cute and pink (her fav, color). She wore them to school yesterday and when she came home, the front and top of them were black. I asked her what happened and she said another little boy pushed her and she fell on the black top (a whole different issue that has already been dealt with by her teacher who saw it happen). But, for now, how do I clean them? They look awful and I'm sure there has to be a way to get them at least somewhat clean looking again. I would prefer to be able to use something from home that I can just mix up. I don't want to have to go and buy an expensive cleaner. So, any home remidies for cleaning fake ugg boots? Looking at the tag it says the fabric is Sheep skin upper, sheepskin in stock, and synthetic sole if it helps to know what the material is.

Thanks!!!

I had washed my daughters fake Uggs on the washing machine. Don't dry them just do a wash on delicate. They came out looking like new.

If no one has a suggestion those little suede cleaner kits are not terribly expensive. They're usually on an end-cap of the shoe section at Target or you can find them at any shoe store.

That said, the kit is basically like a magic eraser and a nail brush, so if you have those two things, it might be worth a try.

Either way, once you get them clean, you should scotch guard them. That would help keep them clean in the future.

I've sprayed "spray and wash" on mine before and wiped them with a damp cloth. They come out a little darker in color but at least they are clean.

Sensaria Natural Bodycare's Citrus Cleaner, around for over 30 years, has been great for removing ALL stains from everything I know. It comes as a concentrate and makes up to 32 bottles of All-Purpose cleaner. I use it for everything, from cleaning my kitchen, doing my laundry, hard-to-clean areas and spots, stains, to cleaning my fruits and vegetables.

My 2 year old daughter has some of those fake ugg boots. I put each boot in one of my husband's socks and put them in the washing machine with a load of laundry. The socks keep the shape of the shoes. Try that first. If that doesn't work, hopefully someone will have a good response about black top stains.
