Child Counseling

I don't know where you live but I took my son to see a counselor at about 6 years old when he was having problems with not getting enough attention from his father (we were already divorced) at a place in Encino at Balboa and Burbank Blvds. There's a chicken fast food place on the corner of the building, the southwest corner. They billed on a sliding scale. Also, I have Blue Cross HMO and can call a certain number to obtain a selection of therapists, etc. I don't know if you have that available to you.

My kids have a fantastic counsilor for Counsiling 4 Kids! She comes to the house every week. I can't believe the difference. They take medical. Hang in there. It get better.

Hello A....The San Fernando Community Mental Health Center has a counseling center for children that is located in Van Nuys. The adult section phone number is ###-###-#### and they will provide you with the children's services number. Let me know if the referral works for you. If not, I have other resources that my be closer to your home or more suited for your child's needs.

I recently was searching for counseling for my 8 year old, he has Healthy Families and all of these places take that and/ or Medi-Cal.
