eucerin works well, it is a form of exzema (sp). I ave found that olive oil body butter works VERY well, just a little bit in the morning and then a good coat at night and she should be clear in a few days give or take.

Hello,

My first question would be if you used dryer sheets on your clothing. The little fibers can get under a babies skin and cause a rash that looks somewhat like acne. I have not been able to use dryer sheets since my oldest son was born in 02 for this very reason. My second question would be do you use the baby Dreft or baby all on the babies cloths. Those two are the only ones I have found that are truly free of all chemicals and fragrences and dyes. Hope this helps.

Hi - it sounds like baby acne. I don't think there is anything to make it go away but it will subside on its own the older she gets. No worries it is totally normal. Double check with dr;s office on if lotions/cremes would help for any dryness. Good luck.

I have a 6 month old, and she had the same thing the first few months. They were little red acne looking spots with a white center. Her doctor said they are perfectly normal and they would go away. And they did. She still sometimes gets a few on her back or the top of her head, but her face cleared up. We didn't put anything at all on them and they went away. I bet the same will happen with this child. I say leave them alone and I bet they will clear up. Good luck.

Sounds like what my oldest son had. They told me it was his oil glands developing. The only thing that helped him was to keep it dry. No lotions or cremes at all. They seemed to make it worse. If he got too hot and sweated alot it also made it bad. He would cry his little eyes out. I was told the salt in the sweat was making it hurt. So after every bath I powdered him extremely well even on his little face and they did eventually go away. He also had terrible ache at least to me. I had one zit. Truely just one right on the tip of my nose. Husband had it very bad. Micheal was in between actually. enough that he thought it was an issue when he was growing up.

My daughter had the same thing at 3 months. It is baby acne and we found that Arbonne baby lotion cleared it up. I applied it to her face morning and night. If i missed a day she would start to break out again. After a few months they went away completely.

Echoing what others have said, it sounds like baby acne and is probably normal. If you're concerned, check with the pediatrician. Good luck!

Hi, my name is C., I'm a SAHM of 4, work with a wellness company and help other moms work from home if they desire. The company I work with manufactures their own line of everyday use products that are safer/healthier than those you'd find on the shelves at your local stores. They do have a lotion that works wonderful for such breakouts. It has come out on top over eucerin even (which use to be a favorite of mine!) If you are interested, please visit my website: www.KidsNeedMomHome.com and fill out the "get info" form. Your info will only be emailed to me directly so I can call you to set up a phone appointment to share all the details about the company and products. Love to share with you how you can switch stores and provide a safer/healthier environment for your family and the children in your care. Take care! Hope I can help.

Glad that you already have an answer that works--when I washed my baby's hair with watered down baby shampoo, I would also wash his face gently, and that cleared it right up.

i know they say that the perfect skin is "soft as a baby's skin", but kids actually have very bad skin sometimes. it's because their skin is so young and sensitive. anything in the air is going to get sucked up by their pores. has she tried to wash the baby's face twice a day just like her face. don't use soap. just warm water to help open the pores and bring the stuff up. then put a good moisturizer on it. that way the skin is already full of moisture and won't suck up more from the air. at the end of the day she can use a little baby soap. but the moisturizer is key afterwards. hope this helps
