Hello friends, I have decided to get a breast augmentation and I have my very first consultation today with an amazing and very well known plastic surgeon in my area. I really don't feel the need to shop around for more doctors, after extensively researching him,I'm pretty convinced he's who I want to do my surgery. I have no idea what to ask him today, I know I want saline and and armpit incision, but other then that I'm clueless, for those of you who have been through it or know of someone who's been through it, could you please give me some ideas about what I should be asking? thank you all, I'm sooooo excited!!

What can I do next?

I haven't done it but my sister has, and she regrets getting them as big as she did, so my only advice is be sure of the size you want!

I know from a friend that different styles are available. Americans tend to get the ones that very obviously look fake, the Pamela Andersson style. In Europe they tend to do more of a "tear-shape" that looks great too, but not so fake. My friend got that type in LA, and I didn't know she had fake boobs for a long time. I would never have guessed. They were very nice.

If you are very very small then you need to realize that a B or C cup is going to add a huge amount of difference to your body. The larger size will cause you pain that will always be with you as long as you have the implants. So do NOT go huge.

If you are flat or an A then go to a b or smallish C. I know women who have had a D cup naturally and gotten a reduction because it's just too painful. I have another friend that has D cups and is a sturdy 5' tall. She can't buy clothes that fit. She has to buy large and X-large tops just to be able to get it over the bust. She can't even wear a shirt without the blouse gaping open.

i'm pretty sure i would ask what side effects and how much pain and for how long. Can't imagine going through something like that if i didn't have to.
